Well he'll never find out now poor chap. Was she hot bp?

She wasn't too bad at all about 20 years older than me though :) it was just so funny how long it went on for before she realised. And the fact they have a rather obvious uniform in ikea yellow shirts are hard to miss and me just there in a pair of vans, jeans and a t shirt :pac:

Completely unrelated to cars but a funny story from today.

So I went to ikea to get some storage stuff and bits and bobs had been meaning to go for ages. But I was standing in the basement looking at something and this girl comes up to me and says sorry where would I find x y z and how do I get to the till. So I said to her to be honest I don't have a clue and she looks and says surly you should know and at this stage I was just letting it play out so I said oh well I think the tills are over that way then I said oh no actually that way as I barely knew myself I would have told her clearly if I had known but it's not somewhere in in too often.

Finally a staff member in an ikea outfit walked passed and me in jeans and a purple polo tshirt penny dropped and she goes bright red and says you don't work here do you and I was just no and then she was apologising and everything I was just laughing and thought it was rather funny.

Ah now BP, if you're ever in IKEA next time and you're approached by a beour and aksed for directions....

"I don't know where the tills are but can I direct you to the picture frames aisle.....because I can picture us together..."

Guaranteed to work every time..! The real question is, would you have been happy bringing her home to Mammy?? :D

It's nearly a year since the Phoenix park, was just thinking of that today and thinking it'd be great to have another one there again or glendalough.

Speaking of weddings, I was in a menswear shop getting a dickie bow and suspenders for a wedding I've coming up. Nothing but couples getting kitted out for their big days, at least 5 different couples. Summer really is the time to wed it seems.
What's more pressing is that suspenders cost 25 and 18 for a dickie bow! They're decent, and I know the owner so he gave me the dickie bow free. Anyway ramble ramble ramble..!!

Braces, suspenders, all the same. Suspenders is what they're called in 'Murica I think.

Anybody know what this hook is for? Just in front of the glovebox on the side of the centre console. In a 2005 almera sve. I've been asked so many times by the neighbour what it is, at least once a day! Need to find out what its purpose is so I can shut him up.

Looks to me like it's just a very handy addition to hang bags from rather than having your shopping all over the floor of the car or boot.

I've seen builders/contractor's lift cars in New York with forklifters and dump them out of the way.

The fines for being behind schedule are greater then the cost of anybodies car.

Also there would be signs up for days before hand that there is no parking for construction works.
