There was a poll recently on here actually, contrary to popular belief it seems most of our Leinster supporting posters are actually from the northside.

Clontarf isn't really the northside, it's a plantation!

It's very strange. If the story is as clear cut as the papers suggest, surely the lads should be caught already?

So that's 6 episodes of the new GoT and so far I have to say it's been pretty disappointing.

Awful stuff. Whatever about the naivety of the girls, what were those lads at? Surely it'll be the easiest case the guards ever had. They have the address, Facebook profiles and probably DNA evidence of battery. I hope they get thrown into a cell and get a taste of their own medicine, sickos.

That show Remembering Mullaghmore, where Montbatton was blown up in Sligo, on RTE last night is pretty good.

The madness of it all is amazing.

I know they're starting to branch off on their own, but maybe there's a case of stalling while waiting for GRRM to get the next book out?

I haven't read the books so I'm not aware of how much things are changing from shows to books but I do know that GRRM has basically said it's two different versions of the same story, whatever that means.

Also the lads who are producing, writing and afaik directing the show have both been briefed as to it's conclusion for the most part by GRRM so I think they know where the story is headed.

I'm loving this season. It is a little slow, granted, but I do like the progression and direction. I thought the last couple of seasons were a bit of an onslaught on the senses in terms events. The idea now is
the war is over, so there's very much a sense of 'calm before the storm' before the new war starts, people getting their houses in order, musterings in the north, and the queen arising in the east... its all setting a really good build up for the following seasons when the **** starts hitting the fan again. I'm liking the pace of it, personally.

    GOT:
No Bran this season so far which is great. Very slow boring pace to his story. The show really misses The Hound IMO for some cheap comedy!

Yeah in the book its a very, very slow paced story so they just decided to cut it from the TV series and will go back to it when it comes to its current arc conclusion. Good move really.

GOT - Not really a spoiler, but in any case...
Jerome (Bronn) of Robson & Jerome is a great character. I'd watch a programme which was just him and Tyrian tbh.

Yeah he's brilliant. Spent a week doing some filming in our gaf last year for Ripper St, so had a good few chats with him, brilliant guy and very funny.
