Just use the volume keys all the way to the bottom and it puts the phone on silent + vibrate.

    I don't want vibrate though.

Why they removed proper silent mode is baffling!

Thanks. I don't think Ill bother, I think I might get rid of the phone

XPOSED 'True Silent' does the job as per link in mass_debaters post on page 213

Anyone having trouble with the DONEDEAL app on CyanogenMod 12…just upgraded to cm12 the weekend and since then I'm not getting any app instant notifications...

Iv uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no joy....

Anyone any ideas or have the same problems?

Is it just me or is this phone quite sh1t since CM12?

I've been having problems with battery, notifications, contacts (filters won't work so I have several thousand contacts from my work email account) and a few more things.

I know there are fixes but tbh I could not be arsed flashing things to make a phone do what it should do. I had recommend it to several friends based on the phone when I got it but I think I will stop now.

Is there no graphic equaliser or tone control like there was with CM11?

I've been getting the cm12 phone update notification for the past four days and I've been ignoring it based on what I'm reading here :\

Did a factory reset to see if it would sort my battery problems, to no avail. Google play services the culprit. Have to go through the effort of getting all my settings etc back but just not arsed. Officially fallen out of love with this phone.

Turn off your phone>> press Power + Volume Down buttons together>> in recovery mode wipe the Dalvik Cache and Cache.

I'm personally loving the CM12 update and have not experienced any of the issues that others here are having. I would imagine most of the issues people are having could be solved by a factory reset.

Not having silent mode is odd though.

I figured as much, but that doesn't mean that Cyano couldn't build it in ;)

I still love this phone. Panic struck in yesterday when my calls were not registering. However it turns out turning off the theme * that previously worked, and dialer being uninstalled helped.

Its still a class phone, but I think the issues are mainly down to the teething problems for lollipop, I always am looking for the next phone though and I will switch soon when something that suits my needs * and initial reviews show its suffice for me * Its nothing against the phone. I will probably see a new one ( phone ) in my hand before the end of the year, and thats a shame.

If lollipop is the problem will there be an update soon to fix the teething problems?

AudioFX should still be a part of cm12s

What Lollipop version is CM12S based on? There probably won't be too many updates of Android past 5.1.2, maybe they'll get to 5.2, but the fact is that Google just really messed up this version. Especially when you see how good KitKat was.

Most are features and changes, not bugs

AudioFX is still got the same bug that prevents it working fully with apps like Google Music. You still have to restart the phone before loading the music apps.

How was that missed? Its been like that for some time now. Would like to use Google music's own built in equalizer settings but I don't think you can..

Lads, what's the blackberry charger people are using to charge their OPO? Gone through 3 official cables, sick of them.

Has gone up in price though, was £2.93 when I bought a few of them last year.

Going buying this despite the recent update hassle - I'm sure it'll be all ironed out in time.

Before I checkout - are there any real necessary accessories to be had?

I wouldn't count on it as OnePlus and Cyanogen are no longer working together.

The only way these will be fixed is if you move to the nightlies (as long as they're actually fixed in the nightly releases) or count on Oneplus to fix the problems through updates to their own OS.

Could be handy to get the tempered glass screen protector. Will save on delivery costs if you want to get it later on in time. It was on offer, not sure if it still is.

    Interesting.

So in terms of the future of this phone as it's OS - will OxygenOS be the constantly supported, updated system?

Also, I'd like to have this before the weekend - would it be here from the Irish version of the OPO site using Express Delivery, or would it be better to order from the UK version of the site and use Parcel Motel? Few quid in difference, mind.

    Cheers.

No idea, most manufacturers support their phones for about two years from first release I'd expect these to be the same as they release new hardware. The cyanogen team have promised another year of support. You can always flash the nightlies for continued upgrades after that

Battery life, general snappiness of the system and multi-tasking has improved a lot. But Wi-Fi is still not working at all. Works for first 20sec that I connect it but then after it stays connected but no data is transmitted. Tried it on home network and in Uni which both worked perfectly fine before update. Haven't found any solutions and this is really annoying. Apart from that good update.
