I was last September, it may rain a lot here, but the bedrock is very close to the surface, gets wet quick, gets dry quick.

Stunning morning here with wall to wall blue skies after a slight ground frost. Enjoy this week folks since it looks like a return to winter next week ie. wet and unseasonably cold(even snow possible for some!!):(

All this weather makes me want to drink a lovely pint bottle of clonmel champagne followed by many more.

Hell of a day here in Connemara, had many photo opportunities but the battery on the phone had died! Today I reckon had to be the hottest to come this year in this part of the world. Got loads done, solar powered.

not looking good for next week in fact very grim, cold and wet. that will halt the bit of growth we have going on which i think seems to be well behind other years. good job plenty of fodder could really do with some mildness. still 50 cattle in yet. by the looks of the weekend they will be staying in!

Saved a few acres for the twins, like you say it's been awfully slow to move. It's nearly ready for sheep to go into, but I'm concerned I won't have follow up grass where they come from with the forecast, wouldn't want to stay cool/cold for long. Often had loads of grass other years. Been colder a lot this year.

Otherwise today will be another fantastic day here.
