LSC has been added to the undercard, no word on his potential opponent yet.

    Imagine it was Rigo

    Imagine it was Rigo

It would be great but unlikely, I doubt it'll be Frampton either. You would hope that it would be a better opponent than he has faced recently.

I'm fighting on May 2nd as well in some nightclub in Essex. Later they'll be showing the fight on the big screen. How they think a night of boxing, all night drinking til 5am and then showing this will result in a peaceful event is beyond me. I'll be in the car back to London before the chairs start flying anyway.

I wonder is that a similar reason nowhere over here is showing it ie nightclubs/pubs? I know the licensing laws here are far more strict and out of date than England but I imagine its a thought. Bank Holiday weekend and people will be drinking earlier, plus the football, powering through to 5am ringwalk time would be carnage.

Anyone remember how Mayweather Hatton went?? Good luck in the fight btw

Thanks lads, took the fight at three weeks notice so I won't be 100% but I'm hoping my base fitness and experience will see me through! I've had loads of sparring recently too so we'll hope for the best. I f*cking hate, hate, hate Essex though and it's even worse getting into a ring surrounded by muppets in Hitler Youth haircuts, Fred Perry shirts and sh*t tattoos.

What's the opponent like? You know him, sparred him or seem him fight?

I sparred him two weeks ago and we did two rounds, I was hungover and unfit and still managed to get the better of him and he was really going 100% on top of that and getting nowhere. He's totally feather fisted as well. I only took the fight because the crowd with him at my gym were such muppets, whooping and cheering over a f*cking sparring session.

He's a fit lad, but that's all he has going for him. I'm not "fighting fit" per se but I've a bit in the tank anyway from tipping away the last few months.

Sounds like he'll bore you to defeat!

I don't give a sh*t once I get my two hundred bucks and then I'll be away home to watch the fight with some 12 year old whiskey and some cigars I brought back from Cuba.

Anyone else think that Floyd could make this an inside and close fight where he bullies and muscles Pacman all night long? I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd walks Manny down and smothers him? Easier said than done as Manny has very good feet and very fast feet, as well as him being able to let rapid fire shots go, but maybe Floyd can get in, smother and bully and tire Manny all night long? It's one scenario other than the stay outside and pot shot from range whilst ducking low and spoiling.

Pacquaio needs to be aggressive and willing to take risks to have a chance of winning this. The caveat of course is that this enhances the chances of him being put out cold again, as Mayweather has more power than his record suggests.

Pacquaio needs to be willing to risk getting KO ed himself in order to have a chance of winning, otherwise Mayweather will coast to a boring UD. Mayweather will not be aggressive or take risks and why would he, this is the formula that turned him into the highest paid athlete in the world.

You got to think that both guys have more to give than in previous fights due to this fights significance in determining their respective legacies.

HBO Fight Game with Jim Lampley now records the following unsurprising figures:

    10k for ringside seats.

Average Vegas hotel room on the night $1,700

    $100m on betting

I have that recorded. Ringside lately has been all May-Pac but nothing of interest. The same old nonsenses. The guests being asked their views ad nauseum. The same old cliches being used!

There is a 4 part documentary coming up

    Think it starts this weekend

Setanta are showing Manny on Monday night, not really to do with the fight itself but may interest a few in here.

Very enjoyable first episode. Plenty of interesting tidbits, and less of the same old nonsense and cliches!
