    That Civic looks nice.

One of my cousins had one of those as a hire car at one point last year - looked stunning - was white too.

Took this out of winter hiding and gave it a quick wash. Hard to believe it's almost been a year off the road!

I didn't even know you still had the Glanza! I thought you sold it to get the Celica.

    I wouldn't mind having a Glanza like that. :)

Which is the fastest? I bet the Glanza feels the fastest.

Yeah, couldn't part with it, certainly not for the price i'd get. Hoping to get it on a second classic policy for the summer.

The glanza feels much faster tbh. It has 135bhp from pretty much 2k rpm and it weighs like 900kgs. The celicas 190bhp doesnt come on tap until 6500rpm so you only have 140bhp to lug 1100kgs around most of the time but it's still a nice drive :)

    A 98 on a classic policy? G'luck! :p

Gotta appreciate a standard looking Glanza like the above in this day and age given how most of them have gone, fair play

well no one will touch it on a daily policy because it's over 15, so it's not unthinkable. Clevland also had his carina (96) on a classic policy with another car as a daily so i think it's a reasonable expectation with a 98 starlet.

My car is 17 years old and on a daily policy.

They wouldn't insure my Lancia on a regular policy when I inquired, and they wouldn't insure it as a classic without a regular policy.

It might be a bit new, but try Campions or Carole Nash (they're classic exclusive) for a classic policy, much more reasonable than Axa and nicer to deal with on all accounts.

I'm hopeful to get one seeing as it's 17 and i have another daily car but if i can't i'l live, i've driven it plenty already :)

Can you really be refused insurance because it's 15 years and older? My Glanza is a '99 and I had no problems getting insured, plus there was a massive drop in the premium.

Sometimes you wonder what they base their quotes on

I would keep that Glanza as long as you can. The next owner might ruin it :p

Well my first year insuring the glanza at age 20 was 475 iirc, now at aged 25 my cheapest renewal choice was north of 900 and the most common excuse to **** me aside from 'it's jap' is that it's over 15... i have a newer, more expensive, almost 50% more powerful car insured for €600. it just grates on me that as the glanza depreciates more and more and i am getting older with more and more NCB that renewals are going up dramatically year on year.

Glanza insured at 20 for €475?

I for some reason was under that impression as well.

Regarding the insurance on it as a daily drive I'm a actually surprised, I know someone who recently insured a 98 g6r no bother.

Due to a career change I needed to pick up something small and cheap whilst I'm running up and down to college. It's obviously nowhere near the S4, but it is such a happy, fun car....my Punto Sporting...

Its actually one of the reasons I got it, I think its the headlight design that does it.

What's going on with those alloys? Had one of these back in the day, cracking car for a sub 1.3 back then
