It's one of the rescue jeeps at the airport...they've had a busy morning with Ryanair & Aer Lingus incidents

Aahhhh, makes sense now. Didn't know they had tracking equipment in them. Funny enough I used to work on these in a Garage I used to work in years ago. Fascinating the bird call PA system they have!

The gutter media musn't have had their FR24 emergency squawk alerts on this morning.

I can't see any "AER LINGUS BOEING HORROR FIRE EMERGENCY DIVERSION - 570 NEARLY DIED" type headlines anywhere.

Pretty sure this one's the April's Fool's joke.

Its awful near the troubled countries, maybe that's a reason for it.

Every incident like this seriously undermines TK.

They are to busy with the TERROR onboard the two ryanairs that smashed into each other as women and children screamed

A320 EI-DEA which diverted over night now heading down to Dublin from Belfast. EIN993.

    Not impounded, then!

Edit: looks like we sent you EI-DEJ back at 09:30 as EIN991. Please send A330s next time.

    Haha.

The Ryanairs from Dublin didn't leave Shannon till after 8am this morning.

I see EI-DEO is back with EI, on its way to LHR atm (a place it's quite familiar with). Has it had its VS titles removed?

Anyone know what happened on FR with a Stobart from Dublin to Aberdeen today? Went off north, did a U turn and came back to land.

Not as yet, saw it being towed into stand this morning to operate for EI still in full VS scheme.

Is there another EI little red back in DUB also as I saw one remotely parked this evening up towards hanger 6 but was driving so couldn't get a reg. could have been DEO also but strange that it would have been operating this morning then to be parked up out of the way only to be brought out again for service this evening, maybe unless it was the spare.

Wondering why my local airport Luton is currently second for delays on fr24 worldwide...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,641 ✭✭✭✭smurfjed

I would say that it had to do with their ignorant and rude employees..... But hey, that's just my opinion.

I heard these two Hercules buzzing low over my house in rural England a few minutes ago. Looked on flightradar and there they are. They're only visible now and then because they're so low.

It looks like some military MLAT slip through the FR24 filters every so often. It's hard to work out any common factor, apart from the ones I've noticed are all C130's

That's FR109 that diverted earlier, probably with PAX.

Considering its not a SNN based aircraft, it will be flying from SNN-STN later. The flight was originally scheduled at 21:20

I was on FR109 on Monday night returning to SNN. Thought we were all going to die. If I'm not mistaken, there were two aborted landings at Shannon, two in Cork and eventually landed on third attempt at Dublin. The captain made no announcements for first half hour or so of all of this. People were scared!

None in cork. 1 in Shannon and 1 in Dublin.

I shall be joining the a380 club this morning! Should be flying over Dublin around 11.30 or so I'd imagine.

Scrap that. Stuck in dublin for 6 hours, going to miss our connection now. F*ck off Lufthansa.

edit : Booked on to another 380 for later on today....Will get there eventually I guess

What is the cause of the Lufthansa delay? Are they communicating and keeping you updated?

    Hope your heading somewhere nice!
