Wouldn't have thought this would be necessarily the reason, as crews generally get their Oceanics via acars just before departure from Dublin. So they would they could have timed their request for push based on this.

SNN used to be tight and was obtained prior to push or on the taxi out, but there is plenty of time from Dublin so the oceanic clearance is obtained in the air once airborne and we have a more accurate estimate of entry time.

The shorthaul flights on the "tango" routes out of Cork will be requesting clearance prior to departure most days due to the close proximity of the entry points.

Why is there so many flights from DUB-BHX and Visa-Versa today? Every second flight out of BHX is going to or from Dublin!

EI923 ACE-SNN diverting to Faro. This is due to the strong northerly winds combining with the short range of the A319 and runway capabilities at Lanzarote.

Most likely a glitch. FR doesn't usually update these things

Probably, considering that when I searched for the flight a few hours later, it showed up arriving and destination airport fields blank.

Another glitch I noticed was an Air France A340 showing Paris Orly to Dublin, the flight was bound for HKG

FR24 will only state diversions at the arrival airport and not the departure airport. So in any case, it wont be shown as diverted on the Dublin timetable.

FR24 has many glitches, many hard to detect, but its 99% accurate. Fot example it has only stopped stating the aircraft servicing the SNN-LHR as an A320. It was replaced by an A319 two years ago, but was always listed as an A320 until the flight actually took off.

Another annoying glitch, there is always 3/4 flights listed going from BOS-SNN.

As well as that, falcons weekly charter flights from Shannon, Cork and sometimes Dublin are never shown in the airport departures/arrivals list.

For some reason the FR24 airport schedules only seem to show flights of Service Type J and G ( scheduled passenger ).

I assume they exclude freight and ad hoc charters so as not to 'confuse' the mainstream audience they're pursuing, but you'd think they would give the option to Premium users.

Edit: found this list of IATA Service Types. More than I realised!

Over Drogheda at 09:00 is a G550 of Colleen Corporation, which is the flight department of the mammoth Glaxo-Smith-Kline.

Out of Luton, though I would have thought Stansted would be closer to their World HQ in Brentwood.

They also have Gulfstreams N718DW, N507DW and N517DW! Nice fleet.

No idea. Could have been a tech issue.

    A brand new Cargolux 748

They seem to be on a buying spree at the moment, talking about another five B748s.

Perhaps stocking-up while the production line is still open...?
