As per title I picked up a cd planted in Tesco this evening with "Don't say you're not curious" handwritten on the front. Has anyone else picked up one of these? Is it a virus or a pyramid selling thingie?? Cannot afford a new laptop so don't want to take a chance :o Thanks

You can't say you're not curious.

Have you ever tried washing up without using washing-up liquid?

Could you clean a pot or a pan without using a scrubbing brush,a sponge or a scouring pad?

    - I don't think so. - So what you're saying is : these products are essential - products no one could do without?

The first thing to say is that this is definitely not pyramid selling, OK?

I mean, does that look like a pyramid to you? Clearly, it's not a pyramid. It's a pie.
And... it's like a big, lovely club with free money for everyone.

I heard its part of a social experiment to gauge the sexual preferences of the public.

People who pick up the CDs are considered likely to be bi-curious

Strawberry Milkshake I don't know if there was more than one. There was only one of them on the rack where the gift cards are held. Yes I will admit I'm a nosey feck.

I think you need a tool to test it.

    make a bartPE USB

    http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/

    Disconnect your hard drive

boot to that and open the CD safe in the knowledge you wont wreck your laptop

You can also use linux 'live' usbs if you prefer linux shaniggans

It's obviously a stunt to boost sales of CD players.

Put it in ye olde cd player.

it is one of two things: a terrible garage band thinking they're awesome, or a jpeg file of amateur goatse.

    No you must continue.

...just do not have relations with any self-service checkouts and you'll be fine.

Maybe avoid the ATMs too just to be on the safe side.
