According to wiki it is not even in Galway so not much use to you in Mayo.

Good, that's actually what I wanted to hear!

What's at fault when the max setting on the heater only blows the slightest breeze? The kind of stage whereas it only has the power to clear about a quarter of the windscreen mist.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,704 ✭✭✭Cheensbo

Probably a resistor giving up I'd say ^

Same problem with mine atm - kinda, sometimes the blower works, sometimes it doesn't, today it didn't :(

If none of the lower settings are working then it's normally the fan resistor.

No they all work, just at the same "trickle" pace. Had the monies on a resistor alright.

Most likely the resistor so I don't think they are huge money anyway.

Oh what a wonderful drive up from Cork tonight...

Even the wall of raw Snow somewhere between Laois and Tipp couldn't put a dampener on it. Car ran like a watch. Did the whole journey up on just over a half a tank, fully loaded with gear and people while listening to Gundam and Ghost in the Shell soundtracks.

Jesus, where was that? Must have been doing some speed and lucky to be alive as well. Any injuries?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,704 ✭✭✭Cheensbo

    Oscar Traynor Rd in Coolock,

Doesn't mention injuries but I'd say whoever was in it at the time is in a rather uncomfortable state today

+1. If you hit the windscreen with a hammer enough times, you won't need the fan ;)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,704 ✭✭✭Cheensbo

Try hitting it with a hammer :pac:

Didn't work for me, roaring at it and kicking the dash didn't work either

Funny that mm mentions windscreen. Went out to my yoke this morning and some gas cunt/random crow had placed an eazy single in the middle of my windscreen :pac:

I swear to god the whole car will be hit with a giant hammer and crushed into a cube before long if it keeps acting the maggot.

This scenario springs to mind :P

That BMW actually looks okay for an MPV I think - colour suits it

Probably never been opened. Aunt had a new car for 6 months with a sunroof that she didn't know opened till one of her kids came back from Australia for a break and opened it. She just assumed it was a fixed window in the roof.

    Ha ha ha brilliant.
I remember when i worked in a local garage i brought a old woman's car in for a service and turned on the radio and tuned in a station.
All work done and she went off happy,
she rang the next day about how to turn the radio off.
This was in 2008 in a 97 escort, the radio had never been on!

I know of an Audi A3 whose owner never used 5th gear

    Seriously

I thought I misheard when she said it - but no
