The idea that only 1, maybe 2 Liverpool players would get into the Utd team is nonsensical; just like the idea that only 1 or 2 Utd players would get in the Liverpool team.

The reality is, objectively, an actual combined 11 would include a fairly even amount of players from both teams.

Anyway, the Anfield game will be massive.

It wouldn't though, hence why it's being mentioned. It's hardly to make United fans feel better that theyre saying it. Just makes the fact we're playing crap compared to Liverpool all the more depressing

After this weekends results we are top of both the possesion tables and pass success rate tables #philosophy
Disappointingly we have dropped to joint 2nd in long balls if only we hadnt scored before Fellaini was being brought on :D

We are 2nd highest for shot against in the 6 yard box and third highest in the 18 yard box

We also have the best control in the premiership as we are bottom of the table for unsuccesful touches.

Special mention to Arsenals attack sides percentage a perfectly symetrical left 34 middle 32 right 34 (may not be symmetrical)

these stats have been brought to you by the number 20 and the letters MU

Next match I know our form isnt great away but Newcastle are a poor enough team and since rooneys move outta midfield we have improved in performances IMO

Can we stop talking about Pool now?? its unbearable ... its simple, its up to us whether we get top 4 - nothing to do with that shower as our destiny is in our own hands. Had a few weeks of doubting top 4 but fcuk it c'mon United...

It's also in their own hands, and based on form, that's scary

Posting something like that is understandable for a variety of reasons, especially in your own thread, but out curiosity, do you really believe that to be true?

*My sarcasm detector just went waaay off..

Which form, the form table of 27 game one has us in 4th, 2-3 games ago the 15 one has us top, 3 game table has us above midtable and the one game form table has us 3rd on alphabetical order.

I imagine its the eye test. United scraping by against the dregs of the league while Liverpool are playing good football and beating the other contenders atm. If pool were playing rubbish and winning I don't think anyone would be worried about them but clearly atm they're not. Could all change tho very quickly.

    Can I do one.

    DDG
    Raf-Sakho-Rojo-Shaw
    Carrick
    Henderson-Hererra
Coutinho/ADM(cant decide to go on current form or overall ability)
    Rooney-RvP

And they'd be managed by a hybrid of Dame Judy Dench and Allistar mc Gowan doing an impression of Dame Judy Dench

Would love KDB at United, cracking player

Having great season in Bundesliga. Yesterday one of his assist was from cross and the way he bent it was like Beckham.

We have enough players in attacking dept but if there is a chance we should sign him and sell other attackers we have.

But but but...if Mourinho sold him he must not be up to it.

Is that supposed to be a reference to Mata?

Of course it is as that is one of the more regular idiotic things some people say about Mata.

Because mata is the worst player in the world.

Probably, but those who use an argument that consists of, "Well Jose obviously didn't rate him so he must be bad" and think it makes any sort of relevant point should be slapped hard.

It would be awesome if we sign him and he becomes awesome player for us. At least we will have something to go at Chelsea :D

So Nani has the 5th best assist/mins ratio in EPL history. Ozil third best. Incidentally if Di Maria makes one more assist, he will lead this table by miles. He will have around assist every 160 mins.

At this point I may never feel safe using stats to make a point again :pac:

our next 3 games are going to have a massive effect on whether we finish top 4 or not. Newcastle away, spurs home, Liverpool away.

being realistic we need to be beat Newcastle and spurs and at least drawing with Liverpool away. Anything less than 7 points from our next 3 games and I would be worried about making top 4.

van gaal needs to start letting players play with freedom and let them express themselves. Anyone else see the game sat, 1st half we had a corner, 2 passes later the ball was at de geas feet!!!

Seen that alright Bangkok and it wasn't pretty. I'm not one to support fans booing their own team, but I was happy to hear the home fans at the game express frustration with that move. It's literally as you said it; Corner kick - 2 passes later the ball was back with DDG. I think Evan's felt the brunt of the boos, but in fairness to him, the ball should have ended up nowhere near him in the first place. Who took that corner? Cause it was a shíte kick of the ball to start with.
