Current Rvp over Sturridge. I wouldn't.

Falcao hasn't set the world alight either.

They've still all outscored him this season yo'.

I fully expected to beat Sunderland and said so before the game, but it certainly wasn't pretty to watch. Performance wise, we were just lucky it was Sunderland we were playing.

It seems these discussions only appear when Liverpool are on form and disappear when they aren't

All their players are the best and you can't argue with it

Coutinho who was lambasted regularly a couple of months ago is better than Di Maria and Mata no doubt, good for the lols if anything

Typical liverpool fans, coutinho has had a very poor season, suddenly after a good performance today opinions flip out
    ****ing gas

He's been very good in the last 2 months. Last 2 games did dip a bit but all in all he's been one of the leagues form players.

Still inconsistent in the grand scheme of things mind you but to say today was his 1st good performance is well wide of the mark

Built up frustration I suppose. Going back over for the Burnley game got the blood boiling a bit. Look at that Liverpool team, we have better players in most positions yet they're form and play is far better than us. I expected more in terms of performances after Xmas.

Sorry if I'm expressing the frustration too much..

Liverpool weren't very good in BFs first season. He got them playing way better the next season. Same thing will happen with us. Don't forget we've lost an awful lot of players recently too. Our squad is much different to what it was two or three seasons ago, that's quite the upheaval.

Liverpool weren't very good in BFs first half-season. He got them playing way better the second-half of the season.

But do ye really have better players in most positions? I'd argue both teams are quite close. Their isn't a single standout word class player in either.

Di Maria would get into any team in the world if that helps you, Bayern the only questionable one

That assumption is based on reputation and not form is it. Would be nice if he started showing it, been very poor this season

Not sure what you mean? He's been so inconsistent this season

I'm posting an opinion about a player and not a poster

Why don't you try add something constructive to the debate

That assumption is based around him being a lynchpin for the best team in the world last season.

And the reason why Argentina got to the WC final and if he was fit for that, id put money on them winning it

Be great if ya heeded your own advice but Sadly your incapable of saying a good word about any Liverpool player and always so negative. I rarely post on these forums but always see you having a go on various threads.

Certainty on paper United have some great players but it hasn't really fully gelled this season. That Liverpool team on paper today looked awful but somehow Rodgers has made it work. it's beyond all expectation getting 9 from 9 out of Spurs, city and Southampton. Big part of that is coutinho who has being sublime since Xmas. If he was playing for anyone else you be singing his praises no doubt.

LOL at the ref statement saw Oshea foul but played advantage and then wes brown fouled.
As a side point surely if that even happened Falcao got no advantage and the play is pulled back for the first foul. Thatd make sense to me.

Or if they were both there fouling him, then he's not the last man so no red card !

This discusion was about coutinho. Sumblime me hole most inconsistant player for Liverpool all season

To note, time and time again i have said Jordan Henderson is one of your best players, only the thank brigade will appear in a negative instance. Hilarious

Back to us, crucial game against Newcastle considering burnely should be a pushover with the form Liverpool are in at the moment

Hope we stick with Rooney up front, with both januzaj and young as wingers
