The mondy is back in the safety of my hands. Very reasonable and fast service from Adrian Frahill of Seamus McGrath motors. They were flat out though. Busy busy garage

A great choice for some refined skidding.
Had a e34 520i manual myself and even with only 150 bhp it was a great learning curve for some wet roundabout ass out fun.

I do be thinking if these BMW engines were in a lighter car and rear wheel drive they would be rockets.

Ladies and non ladies, here's a question for you, what oil does an rx8 actually take? Some say 5w30, 5w20 and some say 5w40, I know mm had one so he might know but whats the general consensus?

When I had mine Mazda specified 5W30 fully synthetic. Then around the time I had the MPS they specified 10w40 mineral oil I think it was.

I'd say jennizle or Darts would be able to tell you what they're both using now.

See my distinction between one being fully synth and the other being mineral oil.

The e60 still suffers from cooling issues, the water pump is a common problem. It's electric I believe which means its more expensive to fix.

And "Fuel Efficient" is not how I would describe that car!

Yea that's what went in my e90 the water pump alone cost 700 euro.

What mpg would you get put of it? A quick google search brought up around 40 to 45 mpg considering I get low 20's in the 330i I reckon I would notice a big difference.

    Alfa 156 JTD Est.Just Nct 02 16,Taxed,Like New,

Bit pricey but I'm sure there's room for negotiation. Looks genuinely quite clean!

Yea I seen that ans it does look clean but the fact its not the 150bhp engine turned me off it.

An EGR delete or blank, remap and a good service would see that engine up at 150bhp easily. I'd be very tempted myself if I didn't have enough cars already. I'm impressed by how clean it is.

Excuse the quality of the photo but I had to transfer the photo from my phone on to my laptop and it didnt come up as good.
Anyways, this is what my car looks like when its clean - The car has just over 200,000km and has a rear spoiler on the back, which makes the car look great from the back in my opinion.
Im thinking about getting new alloys for the car and do a few other bits, does anyone have any opinions / recommendations?

Top man. I use him whenever I need a mechanic. Really knows his stuff, especially Swedish yokes. Up the walls constantly.

A quick mess around with the Fiat configurator for the 500 reminds me that - manufacturers LIKE to charge you extra for stuff that makes the car nice.

I know Fiat are not alone though.

But you can add THOUSANDS to the price of the car with all the extra cost bits.

On the basic 1.2 Pop - it seems the standard colour is white - every other colour - something like 370 euros

    Hey ho

Had a bout of explosive road rage this morning.
Was queue jumped from behind while indicating a right turn (and was moving!). Ended up getting out and calling her a few choice words at the next light.

Can't say it's my proudest moment.
    Sheesh..

    Appalling to read.

Would you have done the same if it was a van with 3 builders in it?

Why not make it four builders.

Have on occasion ****ed some guys out of it as well. None of them came as close to a collision as this one though.

Usually can only fit 3 in a van.

If you've done this more than once you have a problem, it's called road rage.
