    Nice car

Is that an AMG badge I see on the bootlid?

If I am not mistaken it's just the AMG styling, the MIL has the same car. It has AMG on the wheels and mats too. That's as far as it goes.

Yeah, It's a factory AMG package includes trim, styling, brakes, exhaust etc

Dunno whether to keep the badge, I'll leave it for now

My pride and joy now for over 2 years. 2002 3.0ltr turbo diesel d22 Nissan Navara.

    IMAG0170.jpg

I've changed out a fair bit over the last 2 years I've owned her including a 2inch lift with new shocks and leaf springs, 31'' mud terrains, turbo overhaul and had the egr blocked to prolong the life of the engine.
Boost gauge and catch can installed for added insurance.
High flow exhaust system next month....hopefully.

Done everything on it myself including the servicing and oil change every 5000km.

My fiancé is sick of me looking after this baby :D

Will throw up few more pics in action.

    Not bad for an 02'
First time I've cleaned it all winter after picking it up.

Was that dash available from 02?

Looks very modern for a 13 years old car.

Yeah the interior is a very nice place to be with its Heated Electric seats, 10 Speaker sound system (Center dash & Sub) and general layout. It certainly beats early E60s interior.

    Love them Mercs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,569 ✭✭✭166man

I'd have one of those Mercs in E320 form before I'd have an E60 530d and I'm 22 so go figure....! :D

The W211s ALWAYS looked a nice car.

Massive improvement styling wise over the W210 (wasn't just the quality that took a nose dive on those yokes)

Am I right in thinking that if you go for one after the 05/06 facelift - with NO SBS that there isn't any real no go* issues on them.

What does everyone make of the latest Ford Mondeo?
I'm driving a 2008 Mondeo (Mk 4) and was thinking about moving up to the latest 2015 model, but i'm not gone on the looks.
I'll post a photo of my Mondeo when I get the chance, there's nothing special about it but I love its styling.

Family friends did just that last Friday. 2007 - 2015. The wife was as happy as larry! Decided to hold onto the old one too. I'm not gone on the rear, front looks well though. There's only titanium and zetec specs available with the mk5. Nothing different cosmetically between the 2 outside, but the radio is a major improvement on the inside. The zetec inside is poor.

The interior is A1 on the Titanium Mondeo now, but Im just not gone on the exterior. If I were to get one for its looks, I would nearly go for the estate version of it (and I was never a fan of estate's!).
^ Regarding the estate, I have never seen one in person, onky in the brochuere

Take a look here, I got a few snaps of an estate last Dec.

Have an 11 mondeo and its good spec so will be holding onto that for a while, havent had a chance to look at the new one yet but it looks very similar bar the front end to the previous model.

Pfft... Probably last weekend. The m stripes on the front caught my eye when I passed it so I remember it. Pretty sure it was Mahon point. The halfords side? sorry I'm a bit light on the specifics!

Ah yeah, I was there last Saturday, looking for bulbs but they don't have a great range tbh.

Really liked those yokes since they came out in 2007(?). Lovely looking motor and even the 1.8T is a very nice car. Good luck with it!
