People who show their true (nasty) colours, when dealing with someone they perceive as unimportant to them, then switch back on the 'charm' when dealing with others. Worked with a guy some years ago, and saw him do this, and really disliked him as a result, even though he was all sweetness and light to me.

Self centered people, who think that the whole world revolves around them , and that their opinion is the right one , always. and who seem to think that we need to know every single thing about their daily life, daily. Does my head in .

a bad, defeatist attitude, constant negativity, being unable to see outside their behavior, lack of self awareness.

unable to admit wrongdoing, being patronising or condescending( a HUGE one for me) lack of patience and tolerance in situations that require it, being overly aggressive or confrontational, losing the head over the smallest of matters, lack of consideration for others. being malicious and intentionally setting out to hurt others. selfishness and a "me me me" mentality, materialism, being judgemental, nosy, shallow or superficial.

People who can't accept the truth. They ask you for an opinion on your dilemma and when you tell them the truth, they're like "Well I don't like your opinion so I'm just going to stick to mine." They want to hear what they want to hear if you get what I'm saying.

People who constantly "check-in" on facebook at Hotels, Matches and especially Hospitals when looking for sympathy

Those who can't see beyond themselves. Like they are the most important person around even though half of what they perceive is false or unfounded. Those who have no self awareness of their own shortcomings and small mindedness.

This is quite common especially at work. Used to work with a guy like that, he was a team manager, lovely to everyone on the team but very rude to the postal staff and the cleaner, clicking his fingers at them, telling them to be quite, anyone who he deemed unimportant. Was the same on staff night out, rude to waiters, barstaff, we would sit there mortified.

My least favourite trait in a person, there's no coming back from it.

    My favourite quote:

"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good"

    Samuel Johnson

People who complain but do nothing to change their circumstances which are well within their reach. They would rather wallow in self pity then get a fcking life.

Before rushing to judgement, there might - just might - be underlying issues, eg, depression, under the surface.

Sometimes you really don't know for sure.

Yes there are people who are clinically depressed and self harming and then there are those who cradle multiple pints of stout in a dingy local bar pissing and moaning about nothing while the sails of life pass them by unwillingly.

    Political liars.

Those people who will tell barefaced lies, or subordinate their own personal belief to that of their chosen political party.

    Sickens me every time.
