There were laws in America preventing black people from sitting in the front seats of buses but they changed that backwards view. We should respect his attack helicopter identity. It's not his fault he was born without an armor plated chassis .

As far as I remember the number of deaths due to black people not being in the back of the bus was quite low.

But if you think the slaughter of innocents is ok then I'm sure there are people willing to help you. ISIS are recruiting at the moment.

No it hasn't, you seem to be missing it though. I should have been a bit more obvious, you think that people choose to be gay after all.

I said I can choose to be gay if I want. I can't choose to be black. Are you denying my right to choose to be gay if I wanted?

If you can choose, the chances are you are gay. As a heterosexual, I sure as hell can't choose my sexuality, neither can homosexuals.

Totally disagree with you. I am not attracted to men but could change my mind. Because that's where my identity lies, in my mind. An inconclusive study which has not proved anything is not evidence of a gay gene.

I am all for equal rights but I won't engage in pseudoscience.

We will have to agree to disagree. Anyway work/life beckons. I'm quitting this thread. Take care.

Really? I can't even choose within men who I'm attracted to, nevermind choosing gender.

Also, never said it was evidence for the gay gene. It's evidence, when you account for other studies, of a lack of choice.

You cannot compare a race/ethnicity with people who are attracted to the same gender.

Gay is not an ethnicity, it's a sexual preference.

Wrong. It is a sexual orientation exactly the same as heterosexual, etc

And more importantly the law disagrees with you. Sexual orientation is one of the 9 grounds defined by anti discrimination legislation.

In a similar vein Pro slavery proponents once tried to propse that coloured people weren't human.

But of course if you wish to ignore an entire groups basic rights .

    Hibernosaur indeed...

That's not true and I can demonstrate it; I can choose to be Gay right now if I liked. I can't choose to be a an African American.

So you are capable of deciding not just to engage in sex with some of the same sex (because you don't need to be gay to do that) but of becoming sexually attracted to and aroused by the same sex and turning off any and all attraction to the opposite sex?

Please, tell me more about how you plan on going about this?

They can identify anyway they want. That's very judgmental of you.

I know a few former lesbians with children, should we remove the children from them because they had no business being sexually attracted to and marrying men?

Why would you suggest removing the children?

If the owner is citing religious reasons for discriminating against gay people then they should also ban unmarried couples from having sex in the villa wearing garments of two fibers, eating shellfish, getting a tattoo, or working on Sunday. If not then they are specifically targeting one group which is bigoted.

Being Gay is not a biological precondition according to medical science. Sorry.

Is being left-handed? Or being ambidextrous? Or being a genius/prodigy?

You can't choose to be gay right now because you are NOT gay and never will be (if indeed you are straight). A straight person can shag and be shagged by a dozen persons of the same sex but will still not be gay. Likewise a homosexual male can have sex with as many women as he likes but will still be gay.

I love it when people are so eager to try and be clever that they ignore what you actually say and make up their own nonsense.

Where did I say anything of the sort - just simply that you don't need to be gay, or even bisexual for that matter, to have sex with somebody of the same sex.

Your in flying form here. Must be your inner attack helicopter.

    Keep up the good work.

    Yup. Sure why bother?

Rosa Parks probably should have just got a taxi and sure wasn't voting such a big fuss about nothing for women and before that Catholics.

This stuff is a BIG issue.

How would you react if there was a little polite note up like "No Catholics!"

    Or "No Irish"

    ?

If people accept crap like this it never changes.

Sometimes you have to get put out by these things and make some noise.

The usual reaction from the hysterical brigade.

I have tried over the years to book various chalets, caravans and b&b's for stags or weekends away only to be told strictly no all male bookings or no same sex bookings.

I didnt get my panties in a twist I just booked somewhere else.

Now do we really need to explain the difference between excluding a stag party versus a couple, and why the reasons a stag party may not be accepted have nothing to do with gender, to you?

Gay is not an ethnicity, it's a sexual preference.

Yes you can. Both are oppressed minorities who cannot help how they were born and deserve the same rights as everybody else.
