Clean sheet odds btw, seeing as I have them in front of me....roughly in order I think...

Surprised Burnley so fancied and Sundeland lower than I'd have expected.

    1/2 Chelsea
    8/13 Man City
    23/20 Swansea
    13/10 Southampton
    8/5 Man Utd
    17/10 Burnley, Newcastle
    2/1 West Brom, Liverpool
    23/10 Arsenal
    12/5 Stoke
    3/1 Sunderland
    3/1 Everton
    16/5 Tottenham, QPR, West ham
    5/1 Villa
    17/2 Hull

Jesus, Swanea 3rd most likely to keep a clean sheet? I know sunderland are no great shakes up front but Swansea looked awful recently, even in their win over Southampton. Could almost swap Sunderland and Swansea in that list and it would look more realistic to me.

Points are more important than money now. If you trust your bench then hold and wait for lineups. I'll be interested to see what Wenger says in the press conference tomorrow but I can't see Sanchez being anything better than bench against Leicester from the article today.
I'm leaning towards Sanchez to Cazorla now. I don't really want Silva past this GW since it throws off my team balance. I could wait and start Baird/Wolly but the point ceiling getting Cazorla in now is so much higher. All he needs is a pen or assist from set piece and he's probably outscored a cleanie.

totally agree points should be the no.1 target at this stage. Im holding sanchez as Ive a strong front 8 and was going to bench ings who has a good fixture so happy to play him now. If I had a cheap mid Id be selling sanchez no hesitation. If sanchez isnt in the squad against leicester Ill be selling and will have 2 transfers to play with.

The more I look at this Sanchez thing the tougher it is to call.

He has dropped twice this week already so can only go 0.1 more. Then he's still in with a chance of featuring against Leicester, so I suspect those who have held this long won't move him till Tuesday unless there is more news. Those who are switched one will wait till the team comes out.

He is not dropping exceptionally fast on the FFFix, he may not even drop tomorrow night at this rate. I can't see him dropping more than another 0.1 before Tuesday.

So for those of us who could be out 0.4 or 0.5 to buy him back this could go very badly wrong. Worst case scenario you get rid now, he doesn't drop (or at most down 0.1) before Tuesday night and is named in the starting lineup. His last 7 returns at home are 13, 16, 2, 9, 9, 10 and 19 points.

I think I'm going to have to hold him but will have to make a changes elsewhere to be able to field any kind of a decent team!

I transferred out Sanchez before his injury concern. While those stats are great, there are a lot more key players back now and I think we'll see a leveling out of the returns amongst them. Most of those games were while they had their midfield big hitters out injured.
I'm still fearful of him but I'm hoping Santi (and probably Theo in time) will get close to matching him from now, and that I invest the extra cash well elsewhere.

    Living without Sanchez has begun.

At one point earlier I was looking at Bellerin, Zouma, Robertson, Baird and Targett as my defence. No way that would end well though :pac:

    .....or would it?

I considered several times going cheap on defence, I'd want to have:
    Sanchez, Hazard, Yaya, Walcott/ADM/Sterling/Fab
    Sturridge Kane Auguro

I reckon that the strongest front 7 you can get. Possibly Giroud in place of kane

PVA is a certainty anyway. I'm thinking maybe one of Bellerin or Zouma and forgetting Targett. I think cheap is the way I'm going too I just need to figure out if Studge is worth the investment. I'll see what bib theory throws up tomorrow.

Probably ditching Sanchez. I want to keep Theo but not sure if that's wise although Cazorla doesn't excite me at all. Tomorrow's going to be fun :)

    Fabregas 100% out?

Is there any city defenders nailed really? Seems to be lots of rotation there. I was thinking kompany but then saw he had missed lots of games this season. Will mangala come back into the squad? Zaba clichy rotation risks also?

    1FT (0 ITB)
    Foster
Terry | PVA | Bellerin (all playing away...)
    Hazard | ADM | Eriksen | Sanchez (?)
    Agüero | Giroud | Pellè

Subs: Lucas | Baird | Alderweild

Really confused this GW… keep sanchez!? sell sanchez!? Cazorla/Silva look the “best” replacements. On the other hand saving the transfer would be great for the upcoming DGW’s/blanks…

I'm happy enough to go Sanchezless this weekend. It appears that he'll definitely be back for the Leicester game going by the posts on the Injuries thread.

Without Sanchez my team would be:

    Foster
    Bellerin Jones Terry PVA
    Johnson Hazard Eriksen
    Giroud Aguero Pelle

I don't think its worth a -4 to bring someone in. Going without an Arsenal mid could be a problem but then I have Giroud and Spurs is a tough enough fixture.

Plan at the minute would be Sturridge in for GW26 and possibly, if no other transfer presents itself. He'll then be kept or the rest of the season I'd imagine or I'll always have 2 of Aguero, Costa and him.

Hmmm I'm wondring will they rish him against Leicester or will they give the hamstring a little more resy?

I'm also wondering is he is worth 3m more than Sanchez long term, expecially since he is on penalties? Hmm...

I don't think Cazorla can keep up his present output. He's in unbelievable form but how much longer can it continue?

Check the injuries thread. Wenger reckons he is mad to play tomorrow!

You mean Cazorla... thinking in the same line: on penaltys & funds to spend elsewhere...

I suspect there will be rotation of that Arsenal midfield vs Leicester too. And Cazorla would be a prime candidate for a rest with Walcott needing minutes, Ozil also just back and Alexis pushing to play.

Ok so I will be definitely starting Krul, Terry and Jones.
Which other defender should I start? PVA (swa A), Bellerin (tot A) or wollscheid (new A)?

I agree but when is the point to cut him free, Leicester is too handy a game to risk it IMO. I have him but I'm scared of looking a right mug when I sell him.

If you have him, certainly keep him. My point was for those like myself who don't.

I'm starting PvA over Baird and Wolly; don't see Bellerin keeping a cleanie and they have similar attacking threat.

    narrowing down my options
    option 1
Adam Johnson to Silva which leaves money for pelle to giroud on Tuesday

    option 2
    no transfer
    play Johnson (or Boyd)
double transfer tuesday evening to get Sanchez in for either Johnson or Walcott depending on weekend

this season has punished me for looking too far ahead so I'm leaning towards making the transfer

He has the stats to back it up in terms of shots and chances created (over the last couple seasons as well). He could have had another goal and assist against Villa but for the woodwork.

Two seasons ago he was good at the start but tapered off and Walcott was a far better option after Xmas. Last season I wouldn't of had him near my team. He only got 128 points which was very low for his price point.

On my Sky sports news app it says he's "Keen to play in Derby"

Arsenal don't usually have the team leaked, but if you can swallow price changes tonight it's worth keeping an eye on Twitter until 1130 tomorrow. Maybe there'll be something on Sanchez ahead of the early match.

So many doubts and injuries in my team. Don't know where to start. Any advice would really be welcome. Thanks.

    Panti Heaton

    Cahill Alderweireld PVA Hutton Wasi

    Chadli Sanchez A.Johnson Hazard Silva

    Augero Kane Giroud

Sorry for re-posting but any input would be great. I'm thinking Cahill out for Terry or Ivanavic?

Arsene is hardly playing a few mind games? That said, is he playing the mind games now or was he playing them earlier in the week when he said Sanchez wasn't fit?

Either way, he's trained today so may feature off the bench tomorrow.

Is Adam Johnston/Seb Larsson worth a punt. Nice fixtures coming up

No way is wenger risking starting Sanchez when he has Walcott and Ozil back the only way I can see him playing is if Arsenal are down with 20mins or so to go and he may call on him then.

I just got rid of Sanchez so I might be slightly biased here.
