Ugh, I really wanted two FTs for GW25 so I could get rid of Pelle if needed and to bring in an Arsenal mid. I just don't think I can play Baird or Wolly or Cork instead of bringing in Silva. Hopefully Puncheon gives me a headache on whether to transfer him out before Newcastle for the Arsenal mid.

Think I'm gonna hold out on Sanchez (but if he doesn't make the Leicester game it will have been a terrible decision). Sterling out for Silva remains my transfer...........I think.

I don't want to force you into a -4 but Silva home to Hull (and his next fixtures in general) and considering his recent form has to be considered. Granted you have Aguero but if it works again like last week-end that's grand :D.

I guess it also depends upon the rest of your midfield. Hazard Downing and Puncheon if I remember correctly? Who's the 5th one?

Albrighton. It'll most likely be a 433 if I don't take the hit

I'm just going to hold him as well. Have already made a transfer so not going to a -4. Will just go 4-3-3 again.
Same, if I had the FT to spare, I'd consider shipping him out. As it stands, I think my benched defenders have a good chance of a CS this week so it's a toss up between Wisdom or PvA to come on in...

I've Bertrand suspended and Sanchez injured.

Can do Ivanovic and Cazorla for the two for my two FTs.

    Thoughts?

    Current team is:
    Foster (Guzan)

    Wisdom Terry Wasi Bertrand (Cameron)

    Sanchez Silva Hazard Chadli (Fer)

    Aguero Austin Ings

Anyone have a bit of input?

Not a dgw it's 2 separate gws. You defintely need to sell fab or sanchez. Just noticed you have costa aswell it's points hit time. Maybe fab and costa to silva and sturridge.

Do any of us ever not need a big score! :D

Yeah , need to change at least one of the missing mids. You need an Arsenal attacker ahead of next week. Cazorla or take a chance on Walcott or Ozil.

Id be looking at getting Hazard in at some stage too.
Gardos needs to go to but maybe leave till midweek and get Bellerin after you know for sure he starts v Leicester.

Thinking of getting rid of Sanchez then bringing him back at a later date. Only problem is having to keep enough change in the bank...

The more I look at this Sanchez thing the tougher it is to call.

He has dropped twice this week already so can only go 0.1 more. Then he's still in with a chance of featuring against Leicester, so I suspect those who have held this long won't move him till Tuesday unless there is more news. Those who are switched one will wait till the team comes out.

He is not dropping exceptionally fast on the FFFix, he may not even drop tomorrow night at this rate. I can't see him dropping more than another 0.1 before Tuesday.

So for those of us who could be out 0.4 or 0.5 to buy him back this could go very badly wrong. Worst case scenario you get rid now, he doesn't drop (or at most down 0.1) before Tuesday night and is named in the starting lineup. His last 7 returns at home are 13, 16, 2, 9, 9, 10 and 19 points.

I think I'm going to have to hold him but will have to make a changes elsewhere to be able to field any kind of a decent team!

Points are more important than money now. If you trust your bench then hold and wait for lineups. I'll be interested to see what Wenger says in the press conference tomorrow but I can't see Sanchez being anything better than bench against Leicester from the article today.
I'm leaning towards Sanchez to Cazorla now. I don't really want Silva past this GW since it throws off my team balance. I could wait and start Baird/Wolly but the point ceiling getting Cazorla in now is so much higher. All he needs is a pen or assist from set piece and he's probably outscored a cleanie.

Well that is a good defence. Fixtures aren't favourable this week but overall that should work fine. I guess the annoying thing this week is you have 4 def away and 1 at home and you'd be more liable to leave on the bench the one at home than any other one .

£8.8m in the bank is huge. Did you plan to upgrade one of your forward to Sturridge? If you do Sanchez to Silva you'll have more than £10m in the bank which could be some kind of a record :p.

What's annoying in your situation is it all comes down to whether Sanchez features in the midweek game or not. If he doesn't it's a no brainer to get e.g. Silva in for him both for having a playing big gun instead and for taking advantage of his price going down to reduce the amount of cash you have tied on him (for when you'll get him back). If he does it's a complete different story and as you said your replacement will have to return this week to make it work.

Maybe we'll have more news about his fitness before the deadline...

I'm dropping sanchez because I am only losing 0.3 on him as things stand (I was late to the party and bought him at 10.7).
I doubt he will start against Leicester either (after Villa, why would Wenger risk it?) and even if he does, he won't be sharp as people coming back from hamstring injuries don't usually come back all guns firing. I already have Cazorla and am happy to go without Sanchez for a few GWs.

The plan had been to sell Downing after the Hull game. Costa getting banned then scuppered that so I did Costa to Giroud. That banked close to 3 million. for me. Then at 11:26, 4 minutes before last deadline I did one of the most stupid things I ever did in FF and sold Silva for Puncheon (hindsight is 20:20 of course and everything pointed towards a Palace win v Everton and I never saw Silva doing anything v Chelsea). Thats banked another 3+ million I guess.
Then the last night I did Bertrand to Bellerin and now I have 8.8 million in the bank and a team worth just 98.5m. Simples:)
    I don't however have a midfield anymore!!!:o

I have this nagging feeling that Santi is going to get rested very soon! A lot of Arsenal forwards that need games!

I'll consider selling Sanchez again tomorrow but I'd be inclined to go for Walcott instead of Cazorla. Just my gut feeling.

I think Santi will be rested against Boro. Realistically, it's Cazorla, Ozil, Rosicky, and Ramsey for two CM positions until Wilshere and Arteta are back. For the wide positions there's Sanchez, Welbeck, Ox, Walcott, and Ozil. Santi also seems to play 90 mins while Theo will be subbed around 70 mins (if he starts).

I need Arsenal cover so its one of - Cazorla / Ozil / Walcott.

    Cazorla form call
    Walcott safe enough
Ozil risky but can score well

I could live with my bench but for the Baird risk and Johnson doubtful. If both didn't make it I'd be fielding 10.

    Foster
Bellerin, Terry, Baird (PVA, Bertrand) ....picked for now based on clean sheet odds which are surprisingly decent for Arsenal
    Hazard, ADM, Johnson, Cork (Sanchez)
    Aguero, Giroud, Pelle.
    3.4m in the bank.

I just can't see what transfer would make that better in the keep Sanchez scenario, so if I do go that way I might bank. Don't think it's worth changing Pelle for this fixture but he's gone next week. Need the 3.4 for Pelle to Studge.

    Any move jumping out folks?

So it looks like I have 3 options, having already done Ings to Aguero this week.

    (a) Take a -4 and do Sanchez to Cazorla

    (b) Play Boyd in a 3-4-3:
    Foster
    Terry Trippier PVA
    Puncheon Boyd ADM Hazard
    Aguero Kane Giroud

    (c) Bench Boyd and play 4-3-3 with a double up on WBA at the back

Am leaning towards (a) at the minute but don't know if the -4 will be worth it in the long run.

Clean sheet odds btw, seeing as I have them in front of me....roughly in order I think...

Surprised Burnley so fancied and Sundeland lower than I'd have expected.

    1/2 Chelsea
    8/13 Man City
    23/20 Swansea
    13/10 Southampton
    8/5 Man Utd
    17/10 Burnley, Newcastle
    2/1 West Brom, Liverpool
    23/10 Arsenal
    12/5 Stoke
    3/1 Sunderland
    3/1 Everton
    16/5 Tottenham, QPR, West ham
    5/1 Villa
    17/2 Hull
