The soccer forum is most certainly a cruel mistress.

Lads grow up and take it to PM or get a room. Ignore function is a great feature of this site

This is my last post responding to you on this forum.

    1. It's the first time you used that gif responding to me, it was a different poster the last time. Stop bulsh*tting.

    2. You are the one that first had a go at me with some faux-outrage over a comment I made during the week. Stop bullsh*tting.

    3. You might want to stop pretending to be upset every time someone calls you out on your bullsh*t. It's not working.

    Goodbye.

Started off with a reference to a 90s cartoon and I wake up this morning to find two posters bickering out of nothing. Lads, if you feel a poster has a problem with you, PM a mod with an explanation. If ye want to sort it out amoung yourselves, use the PM system. But drop the fighting in a public thread, since it does nothing but disrupt the thread and bring yourselves to mods attention in a negative way.

Now, back to our usual programming....

Did a quick player comparison between Herrera and best CMs in the league (did with Blind also), he is not looking out of place statswise.

Tough tough game for us next weekend , West Ham are a rough nut to crack at home . If we beat them next weekend we will be well on our way for top4

Nice to see that hitting the net,too many times this season we saw mis-kicks or them flying into the stand.

RVP still has a lot to offer to Utd(not just based on the goal yesterday) and I think a lot on here are too quick to write him off, probably partly due to their frustration with Rooney being stuck in midfield to accomadate the three.

He is still the best of the three technically, has the best close control and overall thechnique.

I do think that if you are going to play all three, Rooney at the top of a midfield diamond is probably the best solution.

Do you remember the time we spanked Arsenal 4-2 at Highbury?

that game where Keane told Viera he "see you outside", the Gary Neville handshake and that John O Shea beauty..

well its only 10 years ago today.
makes me feel really really old.

if you were too young I feel sorry for you..What a night!!

Am I mixing up dates or did that end up with us ending their mad long unbeaten run?

You're thinking of the 2-0 win that same seaosn at OT where Rooney and RVN scored. that ended their run.

    great game too

I'll never forget that game. O'Shea's reaction was legendary, no clue how to celebrate :pac:

Criminally underated player. Top pro and really stepped up to the plate when Wes Brown got injured in 09. I still think Fergie let him go a year or two early.

O'Shea had slowed down an awful lot by 2011 and gotten very hoofy. He was let go at exactly the right time for my money. Gave us great service during his time here.

Which will mean Mata gets dropped which I wouldn't be a fan of , I reckon Rooney will be back up front next season , Herrera will be sold and a world class midfielder signed , if we keep falcao , himself and Rvp will be rotated

Would you guys be happy with just 3 signings in the summer , a right back centre back and a centre midfielder , clyne hummels and pogba , would this be good enough for a title challenge ?

Two honeybadger type midfielders and maybe a Tasmanian devil type centre back and we'll be grand.
