Yeah but ITV don't, I'm saying it was handy when you could escape the RTE or TV3 game if the ITV one was better. But now that BT have the rights to all UK CL football, that's no longer the case.

Failing to replace Lewa's goals is their downfall, Immobile hasn't found form and I think they spent 12 million on a striker too to try fix the problem

Wolfsburg are playing Bayern on Friday night. That's the first one back. They've a ridiculously long Winter break, but most of the team have played a good few friendlies over the last few weeks.

A number of their key players have missed game time so far. Reus has had two stints out injured.

Remember it's 5 weeks since they've had a competitive game. You would expect the injury situation to improve in that time.

Berbatov was in horrible form at the time. In the league game against Blackpool a few days prior, he couldn't hit a barn door. Owen then came on and within a few mins he scored. Didn't realise their winter break is that long! hope their situation resolves itself and players can stay injury free, hate to see a club like them go down.

Chelsea's transfer policy has been brilliant the last couple of years

Schurrle and Salah out and Cuadrado in for probably not much outlay

Wonder if we'll regret not signing him up

L'Equipe believes United will re-sign Pogba in the summer.

L'Equipe cover rumours of a move and feel that it's inevitable he'll eventually leave Juventus, that's fair enough given that Raiola has said as much. The French newspaper believe the most likely destination for Pogba is Manchester United and a return to Old Trafford, the Premier League club are said to be the keenest. PSG are stated as a possible club who could 'join the dance' but L'Equipe are pretty certain that Manchester United remains the most likely destination for the Frenchman.

The French newspaper also claims United have been working on it for several months.

Just to addd to the litttle bit of depression about TV pacakages apperently Discovery (who own 51% or 49% of eurosport) are entering the bidding for premier league matches when they are next up so we could be splitting it up between 3 companies. It was on off the ball and they were saying its a power struggle over broadband, mobiles etc where sky are also looking at buying out 02.

Not sure what to make of it I hope with so much competetion and so little actually revenue made from subcriptions less than 3% for sky i think that we end up getting them free but I doubt it..

Would there be anything to be said for the FA creating one compulsory free to air package for the UK which BBC/ITV could battle it out over. Something like 15 games a season at 12pm on a Sunday. Considering most viewers in both the UK and Ireland need two subscriptions, it would be a nice gesture more than anything else.
