    Ha ha ha!

He is a mechanic though, its not like his hobby shed :)
If I told you I'm not really in the middle in that pic you'd probably get sick, there was a corsa, an estate avensis and a renault traffic van being worked on over my right shoulder! Plus his incredible amount of bikes!

Even though they'll have no problem putting ditch-finders on it if you ask them for the cheapest tyre they have

Here is the perfect impression of the philips head screw of the number plate of the car that drove into the back of me today.

I'd find this kind of neat if it wasn't my baby on the receiving end :(

Anyone care to throw a ballpark figure on what they think the cost of getting that fixed is? First impact I've ever had...!

I don't think its the first impact the bumper had though.

I'd get the car looked at, but bumper respray should be €400-ish for a good job.

A bumper sticker may also suffice. I have a sticker on the camper covering a dent. It's a work of art even if I say so myself!

What makes you say that? Just the odds that a previous owner probably had a ding or 2?

No, just how easily the paint has cracked off. Looks like a sub-par paint job was done on it before.

Ah. To be honest, bumper always looked perfect and never notice anything before but I'd have never known that about the paint. Learn something new every day!

Just the way the paint flaked off suggests its not factory.

Not chance that's factory, pretty poor job by the looks of it! I reckon about €300-€400 too.

Went for a hangover curing spin up the wicklow mountains today.
Moody overcast weather, perfect for a b+w photo.

I really don't enjoy driving while hungover, then again my car isn't as fun to drive as yours.

I notice that your BMW 3 series was bought in Motorvation in Bluebell

There are some very unhappy posts on boards.ie about them

Are they anything to do with the notorious Fastnidge brothers?

Couldn't tell you. Personally, I haven't had any hassle with them. Was able to negotiate for a slightly better warranty than was standard. There was one issue with the car a couple of months after I bought it but it was under warranty and they were happy to sort it for me.

My poor 5 Series after 2 dirty little scrotes knicked my headlights early yesterday morning.

    IMAG2007_No_Reg_zpsuo43wgmx.jpg

Smashed drivers window, popped the bonnet and had the right tools to remove them. Tiny bit of damage to one of the connectors from the loom, but thankfully they didn't cut the loom.

Interrupted them in the act, heard the alarm at 04.00 yesterday morning.

Not much fun driving it from home to the office (62km, mainly motorway) without a driver's window. Did it in daylight yesterday and picked up a demo that we had here.

Sickening....I wonder if they do this to order, or whether they'll just end up on Ebay, Donedeal etc...

They knew what they were doing. Torx screws holding them in place, found a couple of those with no damage to the head, so they had the right tools. Knew exactly where the bonnet pull was, so where to smash the window, and knew how to get the headlights out in a small amount of time.

I just hope they are very disappointed that they are merely halogen units. I'm picturing a Fagan like character beating them to a pulp when they get back with the wrong units.

Idiots! You just feel like you can't have anything nice sometimes. Constantly worry about some goon steeling my wheels.
