Well we don't agree. I'll be interested to see if you stay consistent now that you've set the bar so high for what counts as above garbage performance.

In the event you've saved the links to those posts to brandish at a later date, do we want to define that specifically?

For the record I'd also consider Falcao and RVP to have been "garbage" this season.

I do tend to overuse the word garbage :( But when I do it tends to mean "not good enough" to the extreme of actual, rubbish.

I'd expect a Manchester United forward/striker to be scoring at a minimum double figures in the league.

Yeah, I think you are just overusing the word a bit.

Messi just getting cheaper and cheaper, thanks to quantitative easing (QE) helping out now.

Speaking of Nani earlier, how is he doing in Portugal?

Yes, you did assert all of those points, here you go:

Go back to the original argument and stop picking bits you might like to argue.

Yesterday I read on twitter he got man of the man in his last game with a goal and an assist.

So now you've changed from claiming that you never said those things to claiming that I'm only picking the bits that I want to argue against. So what, I have to just keep responding to your original post and I can't address any subsequent ones you make in the discussion? Yeah maybe your argument would hold up if that was how people discussed things.

I already responded to your first post, here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=93954921&postcount=3383

Lol at accusing me of deflecting when you are at this shíte.

Doing really well by all accounts. Definitely still has a future at the club.

Havn't watched him play but checkup on him via stat sights and has a few goals and assists last time I checked.

    Very happy for him.

Love see him get a proper chance again at United.

Still think he offers us something we lack.

Problem with Nani is he needs to play 90mins week in, week out, otherwise you'll just get patches of brilliance and a whole heap of annoyance with him.

I don't know if he'll get that with LvG's current system.

Seeing as we are discussing past players I wonder if LVG had been appointed straight after Fergie would he have got best out of Kagawa??. Would he have bothered signing Mata?
I think Kagawa would suit the 352 system more than Mata

I hate the way these sort of things come out whenever there's a mismatch in a cup tie. It's just patronizing bollocks from the media. Cambridge operate on a level far below us and while we will continue to be box office, they will continue to struggle to make ends meet, hence the need for petty fines.

The kagawa ship has sailed, he wasn't cut out for the premier league, struggling in Germany now as well

Maybe he just lost his mojo

Hey you can dress it up anyway you want but you are arguing dishonestly. You seem to enjoy doing this and will endlessly waffle on so post this response I'm off, I don't have the time or inclination to get bogged down in it.

It's an interesting question. I don't think LVG would have signed Mata. IMO he's not a LVG player (but I'm very happy at the game time he's getting because who doesn't love Mata?). I think Kagawa, if he showed his dortmund form, would have done well with LVG.

If you think he wouldn't have signed mata as he is not a lvg player there's no way kagawa would have been played either

Falcao, Wilson and Januzaj all start.

De Gea plays, no start for Valdes.

4 at the back anyway unless he's playing Carrick back there (please no). 4-1-3-2 maybe? Wilson Falcao up front. Fellaini sitting. Carrick in the middle, Januzaj and di Maria on the wings? Who knows!
