Beatiful car, would love to upgrade my e46 to that exact model and spec!

I reckon a quick run over with a DA would make a world of difference to your car foxhole

There is no such thing as a "Quick run over with a DA" on BMW paint. :D

The MK2 Golf, MK2 Jetta and the 6N Polo are nice, The12thMan.

Oh, and the B7 too. :)

I thought this picture was funny today even if the dirt of the car was awful.
Parked in Frank Keane's on the Naas Rd.

Oldest by 8-9 years from what I saw!!
You should see the faces on the salmon shirt wearers when I plonk a big dirty Subaru in the middle of Conlans and walk through the showroom rather than sneaking in the back way to parts...

6N2 GTI with a little work done to it can be quite nice.

I went in through the showroom yesterday.

Was at the car earlier so was covered in dust with an old hoody and snickers on. Shoes fecked too, the whole side gone out of one.

I just said "Where's ye're parts desk" and she pointed down the back, totally disgusted :D

Yeah, that kinda constipated and chewing on a lemon look.

Wonder did they sell any B7 RS4 Avants here. Seen one in the same blue as your 4 door in the UK that looked absolutely stunning.

i have never seen one with an irish reg, and i have been to a few Audi/VW shows in Ireland. and with the new one Priced at €102,725 i cant see many of those being sold either.

Who will pay that for an estate, even if it will spank all but a few cars on the whole island.....

i think i know why now: (from press release)
"The OTR price of €102,725 represents a significant price drop compared to the previous B7 generation."

Up there with the X6 design. Imo. Not that my car history to date qualifies me as a car design expert...

It's almost identical to my last one :P

The only differences are that this one is 2001 not 1999, It hasn't got leather and it hasn't got 17'' wheels. However this one is a 6 speed which is very rare in a 2.5. The only one I've ever come across. Going to try and find out where what how and why it has the 6 speed box!

The Velour is actually nicer to sit on :o

I do have the leather in the other car so I'll probably put it across.

    On the 166?

Never really post in motors so figured I'd show my car history!

First up was my first car, a 02 Honda Civic 1.4 EP1, had that for 6 years, never let me down!
    0JmbbVhl.jpg?1

Got bored with the Civic after so long, so switched it out for this, 02 Audi A4 TDI, loved that car, never game me trouble, and only sold it due to immigrating!
    Wc8Ohltl.jpg?1

Moved to the US, and was offered this for cheap, 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0l I6, only kept it for a few months due to it being the biggest heap and the repairs costing more than the car was worth!
    5eFHSwYl.jpg?1

Which leads us to today, where I traded in the above last week, for the CUV below! 07 Mitsubishi Outlander 3.0l V6, with all the toys (Leather, Navigation, Sound System, Climate Control) still too new to give a report on reliability, but loving it so far!

So today my rear splitter arrived, fixes up the back lovely!
Also decided to remove the rear spoiler and I think it has cleaned up the lines to no end!
Only problem is that now the 2 bumpers and the boot needs spraying!

Other than that I fitted the two shocks needed, remember the ones that
we were going to need another bailout to pay for :o

Here's a nice pic in the pal's shed.
At least it sits dead level now!

    336189.jpg

Oh and if anyone wants parts for an early Octavia in beige let me know, there's one breaking near me :)
A chap flipped this into a river just down from us, miraculously got out and left it there!
Got a lift home and not been seen since!
    Miracle he survived!
