Some good stuff in here this time, game hubs looks really interesting and handy. I like the way you are able to track your stats in a game.

Xbox – live TV trending is based on the number of Xbox One owners currently watching that show in each country, pulled from anonymous data collected at a national level. Currently, Xbox TV trending is available to all members in the U.S., UK and Canada.

Live TV trending (new countries) – France, Germany, Brazil and Mexico will begin seeing live TV trending data in Xbox OneGuide.

Improved control of TVs, set-top boxes and audio/video receivers – Xbox One will work even better with more devices. This month’s preview release contains updates to the IR blasting database for new models and addresses issues reported by our fan community.

“Trick play” with Xbox One Digital TV Tuner – Preview members with the Xbox One Digital TV Tuner in supported countries (UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain) will now be able to see video frames when fast-forwarding or rewinding paused TV on your Xbox One consoles.

Live TV streaming on Windows Phone and Android – We are continuing the preview of live TV streaming on Windows Phone and Android devices for Xbox One Digital TV Tuner owners in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

I'm not in the preview program lads, so ye might be able to tell me if this is a feature thats coming up

when you turn on your xbox, on the dashboard to the immedate right, it shows the games most of your friends have played recently, and who is currently playing each of those games at that given time. Now, when you click on those tiles, instead of launching the game, it takes you to the store which isnt really helpful at all. - is there any plans for allowing you to launch straight into a game from there?

Went in to confirm for you there, and that section has disappeared now, typical.

Hang on, just checked again, and I assume that you are talking about the friends tab? Clicking on a game there now takes you to the Game Hub page, with "play" already selected if you own it, or a link to the Store if you don't.

No idea why it disappeared on me at first.

when you slide over 1 tab to the right, you end up on the friends section, you get a close up of their gamerpic in the left side and it kinda scrolls through who is online. then in the next column, you have "popular with friends" and it lists usually 4 titles, and if anyone is playing them it says so. but if I click on any of those games, I'm always taken to the store - never a direct launch to game, even though I own the game.

That's been buggy as hell for ages now, if you can't see it hold down LT + RT and press Y to refresh the dash. Used to only happen me if region was set to ireland but happens the odd time now on the UK setting.

Done. Just a note to all that have asked for an invite over the last few days, just because you have been invited to join the preview does not mean you will get in on the first invite, if you don't get a msg with in two days. Just post again saying whom invited you so we can send you another invite... Also if you are invited on a Thursday you may not get the msg till Tuesday.
Just a heads up.

Probably the first on Xbox anyway, but it makes sense. Apparently they're transitioning over to the new Matchmaking system that's in the latest SDK.

The Update Beta is only in North America though, which is weird. I would have thought that they'd go for a global roll out. If you go into the preview dashboard app on Xbox One, it actually looks like you can enter the beta, but it just brings you to the wrong screen.
