Eastenders are ruining Shirley. She is one of the best characters and actresses but this story is terrible for her. This constant, pushing Dean in the faces of the rest of the Carters is a joke. Even if she doesn't believe he may of raped her (which i find ridiculous in itself considering how unstable Dean is which she knows), he has "admitted" to sleeping with their mother yet she still wants to FORCE him in to a clammy pub with 300 other Carters already living there.

Silly plot and its the least interesting part of EE at the mo.

Oh and Nancy an Jay would be a good couple................ Lola and jay ont be happening for a while I reckon, (if even)

And considering a certain poster on here reckons Jay may be gay, sure he might go half way with a tomboy!

Stan and Tina's reactions to Dean annoy me too. They know what Linda says he did and yet they barely make any effort to get Shirley to baback down. It's Nancy and Lee's home more than any of theirs so they have no right to keep pressuring them.

Oh god, Nancy and Shirley, this is going bad. I feel like Shirley will get into Nancy's head and turn her against her mum.

stupid entrance if you ask me. Any normal person in Micks place would have looked shocked and angry when he came in! It was like a circusmaster walking in to deliver a well rehearsed entrance line!

I knew exactly how Mick and Linda would return. With Mick and Linda walking in the door just as everyone is nice and settled, and happy. Then in walks the pair, Mick says something to catch everyone's attention, and everyone turns to stair at them with a look of shock and horror. End credits.

Yeah sorry I know that,I mean did she pay it back (how coz that family are permanently skint?!) or ever do anything to make up for the theft and betrayal of her friends & neighbours? Coz I remember everyone was well pissed off with her at first but now they all seem to have forgiven & forgotten??

Not sure about the aftermath sorry. It's a soap so things are forgotten quite quickly.

That's what I thought. You don't drive away business. You walk through like nothing is wrong and take it to the back. The front of house should never know what is happening in the back of house.

About 10 minutes before that Lee said to Nancy "It's like Dad always says, crack on, take the money off the customer and sort it out later."

Why oh why oh why, among the ones that have heard the rape, have not one of them mentioned the state Linda has been in this months?? All that time her family were wondering what was wrong? Now that hasn't even crossed their minds??? I thought Stan alone would be wise enough to cop.

Yeah but you could probably chalk that down to her feeling guilty about cheating on Mick. I think they all agree that something happened between them, they just don't believe it was rape.

Nancy saw them kiss, so has a bit nore of a problem believing in a rape. But that's a good thing social-conscience wise. It will hopefully show that even if you've forgiven an inappropriate kiss, it doesn't mean you can't still be raped.

I honestly think women and girls need to be educated more on how and also when to stand up for themselves.

A long time ago, when I was new to Dublin City, a man saw I was lost and said he would 'help me' back to my bus stop. Turns out he was only interested in helping my back to his flat for some drinks. Fortunately, the luckiest I have ever been in my life, he happened to live near a bus route that I knew so I freaking legged it to a bus stop as soon as I even vaguely knew where I was.

I thought I was safe but he freaking came after me! He gave it all "How dare you, bitch, I was only trying to help you! And this is how you treat me!" I wasn't even listening at that stage becase I knew that there was nothing he could do to get me under his control again short of dragging me off by the hair. So I stayed put in public view, at a bus stop until a bus came to bring me home.
