I would like to see Jack back for the live shows in Feb, he could wake Ronnie up with a kiss, I wonder what he would think of her being a mum again as she told him she didn't want anymore kids

    Max and Charlie
team up to get revenge on Phil

This was posted online & quickly deleted we are getting a flash back episode to the night Lucy died

Lucy, Jake and Rainie all returning for flashback episode

& the Metro us reporting were getting EXCITING 30TH ANNIVERSARY ANNOUNCEMENT TOMORROW!

There is more here is the leaked article

EASTENDERS is to stage its first flashback episode to show viewers how Lucy Beale met her end.

The 30-minute show will retrace the events of Good Friday 2014 to reveal who killed her – and why.

It forms a key part of the soap’s 30th anniversary in February, which
culminates in a live episode, and it means the return of characters including Hetti Bywater, who plays Lucy.

Max shows a flicker of jealousy when he sees Lee flirt with Lucy. Max is a prime candidate, as is Abi.. but we've another month to go until we find out for sure.Max shows a flicker of jealousy when he sees Lee flirt with Lucy. Max is a prime candidate, as is Aby.. but we've another month to go until we find out for sure.

She will be seen in the hours leading up to her death, broadcast on April 18 last year.

Jamie Lomas will reprise character Jake Stone – one of the last to see Lucy. Tanya Franks, whose drug addict Rainie Cross gave Lucy’s dad Ian an alibi, also returns.

Hetti said it was “great to be part of the conclusion” while Jamie declared it “an honour and a privilege”. Tanya added: “It’s fab to be back.”

Show boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins promised the episode would be “the pearl” of the anniversary week.

Jake Wood, whose character Max Branning had an affair with Lucy, tried to trick viewers with an “I killed Lucy” sign during a live darts match on TV today.

But he and the cast will not know the killer’s identity until the last minute.

Unfortunately as many people will not have a subscription to Sky Sports and others the BBC and other stations have to show some sports. Glad Hetti Bywater is coming back for the big reveal.

they dont HAVE to show it. They have bought the rights to certain fa cup games so they are entitled to! its a financial decision, not one out of empathy to those without a skybox!! sky sports isnt the only station to show sports!

As far as I know a normal station like the BBC has to show a mixture of everything. They buy the rights to sporting events but they have to have a mixture of programming to suit everyone.

Probably something to do with their getting the licence fee. I dont think they're a commercial station, they're funded with public money so have to cater to the public as a whole. Pain in the hoop tho!

kats abuser, her uncle Harry, dies and leaves Kat a rake of money in his will. I think that's what sends her over the edge

Ditto, handy way of showing the killer's motive & will be nice to see Lucy back, however briefly!

Agreed. Much better idea than having to sit through a whole episode of someone explaining what happened.

i think they are nearly obliged to show it to merit some credibility for the last year. it would also be good to give some extended scenes to the months after from the killers perspective, ie how he/she covered up etc. if they just flashback to the moments up to the killing it still wouldnt be sufficient in my opinion. I also hope they dont contain the flashbacks WITHIN the real episode as it would look very cheesy and "detective show like"

That's definitely a lot to take in. I wonder what she will do with the money...where do you get your spoliers from? I haven't come across any that reveal her 'bombshell'

Abbie seems to be the bookies favourite but I think it might be Whitney, she hasn't been in it much lately and isn't really a central character anymore.

Here's hoping Kat will decide to relocate to St. Lucia.

Could be. It would fit with Lee giving Emma weird looks as he came running into the pub after she had met with whoever in the park. It could be, as someone else suggested, that Emma didn't meet with the killer but with someone covering up for them. Again that could fit with Lee covering for Whitney, and not wanting to tell them about her deleting all the messages after Lucy died and why he sent the video of Lauren to Emma.

The Carters should have no involvement in Lucy's murder, they have enough big storylines going on already, Lee has anger issues like his dad Mick, we has seen some of Mick's dark side, more needs to be shown as in him battering Dean more

I fully expect Mick to solve the Lucy murder case soon :p

Lee hasn't really had any story lines though has he? He's just sort of in the background of other peoples. Also why bring him back from the army only to have him hang around doing nothing? I wonder...

We have seen a hint of his violent streak in attacking Ben over Johnny and accidently hitting Nancy in the process so hopefully more will be explored about this and also about his time in the army

He is studying to be a plumber too

I also think maybe Lee and Stacey will get together, he has zero chemistry with Whitney

dark side?? ffs, i dont buy this "dark side" stuff. how else is a man supposed to react when his wife is raped by his brother! And then find out she has left him! i dont think thats dark, its natural. what would a person without a "dark side" do..... Tell him off and send him on his way and then go on as nothing happened!

saying that I am sure by years end they will have transformed him into a sociopath to give him more airtime!

the casting of Lees character was an ill fated error. Not only is the actor gormless and has these irritating face pulling traits, not only is he pointless and has had barely anything to offer but adding an older brother to the family really stretched whatever ounce of realism of the family structure. It essentially means Linda and Mick conceived 3 children within 4 years starting at 13 years of age whilst he was in the hands of the social authorities and were able to keep them. Whatever about one, even allowing for two, the fact that they managed to raise three kids in a perfect manner, had bought a pub in their late teens and are able to hand over a quarter of a million to buy the Queen Vic defies normal logic.

I think they got carried away a bit.......

    Indeed he did.

    What happens is
further victims of him come forward and it all comes back into her life.
Would be great if Zoe returned.
