Man C, Man U DNB, West Ham DNB treble @2.22

Double Barnet and Newcastle .. pays 2.68.

Barnet top of the conference and playing at home.
I read that Newcastle playing agianst a Burnley side who have used the least number of players over the holidays period in the PL. Think fatigue will be an issue and Newcastles pace should punish them.

skybet treble is city pool newc 5/2
they've gotten a bit stingy with these since they started as it pays
over 2/1 as is with another bookie

Dyche was praising his players fitness and conditioning after the city game, saying they couldn't be fitter, doesn't mean theyll win but would counter one of your reasons, just a heads up.

the wycombe pool double works out around 11/10 (8/15 + 2/5)

    wycombe top v hartlepool bottom
havent backed pool in months but they are surely playing well enough
    to beat leicester

I think Skrtel is out for pool after picking up a booking the other night.
If Gerrard doesnt start Id fancy pool myself, but if he plays it disrupts all the good fast stuff they showed the other night.

First bet of the new year, please let it be a winner
minute I saw this fixture I liked the price of the home team

On another note I dont know whether to put the likes of this here or the football tips thread (any preferences please advise)

    Dundee utd 10/11 (v dundee)

    dundee have collected 22pts from a possible 27 at home W7 D1 L1
only celtic have more pts (23) but have played a game more
    dundee away w4 d2 L3

since dundee returned to the premier in 2012 the head to heads between
these two are (dundee were relagated again in 2013 where dundee utds home
    form that season was w4 d9 L6 2012/2013 season)

    2014/2015
SCOTTISH LEAGUE CUP We 24Sep 2014
    Dundee Utd 1 - 0 Dundee
    SCOTTISH PREMIERSHIP Su 21Sep 2014
    Dundee 1 - 4 Dundee Utd
    2012/2013
    SCOTTISH PREMIER Su 17Mar 2013
    Dundee Utd 1 - 1 Dundee
SCOTTISH FA CUP Su 03Mar 2013
    Dundee 1 - 2 Dundee Utd
    SCOTTISH PREMIER Su 09Dec 2012
    Dundee 0 - 3 Dundee Utd
    SCOTTISH PREMIER Su 19Aug 2012
    Dundee Utd 3 - 0 Dundee

    recent form
    2q0irkk.jpg

    stats
Dundee United have won six and lost none of their last eight clashes in all competitions against rivals Dundee.
Dundee have been shown a red card in each of their last three matches against Dundee United (all comps).
The Dark Blues have gone six matches without a win; the current longest run in the Scottish Premiership (L4 D2).

think it's a good time to be playing dundee but saying that all their defeats have only been by a one goal margin which is the one thing that concerns me yet losing last time out to st mirren by a two goal margin looks bad

    happy new year folks

really enjoyed the forum, the bets the banter, was an absolute pleasure posting here
some great insights into other leagues(holland france etc) which is
great to have as there's no bigger advantage than knowing your own teams inside out and getting good advice from others who know

biggest lesson I've learned here is to do singles singles singles...the way to go, now all I need is discipline (and more singles :pac:

    good luck tomorrow

If utd win at 12.15 and 12.45 that would be the perfect start to my year

Anyone else thinking Everton today? Hull are on a woeful and lost last time out to a Leicester team with the second worst away record in the league (was anyhows) plus there without Huddlestone and Quinn, (Quinn has on of the best passing rates in the league), Everton have to turn this around sometime and I reckon today could be the day. A few other bets I like I this game is the overs as Everton have already conceded nearly as much as their total for last year plus with Baines playing in midfield he's due a goal - just thoughts and have not checked prices etc so thoughts appreciated. West Ham look the bet of the day though and the (-1) with Pulis in the stands today before he takes over at the weekend it's a great chance for WHam to get going again after good performances ( allbeit no points) against both Chelsea & Arsenal

Update - Really like the Baines bet as during the last two games Everton has bad decisions go against them and this could well be playing on the Refs minds, both Walters and Cisse were sent off retrospectively so hopefully will make up for it today
    Everton @ 11/8 PP
    Everton (-1) @ 4/1 Betfair
    Baines anytime @ 11/2 general
Acutally Everton to score a peno is 8/1 with PP - Money on that too -Phew

    Liverpool- Leicester City

These two met at the King Power Stadium just a little over four weeks ago, with the Reds winning 3-1 and something similar would not surprise. Not much has gone City's way after a decent start to life in the top flight, 13 matches without a win until they took all three points at Hull City on Sunday. However, performances had improved before that and they did create 20 attempts on goal against Pool despite playing 30 minutes with ten men and 22 against Tottenham and seem sure to get chances at Anfield where the hosts press forward and have conceded in 15 of 18 home starts, an average of 1.22 goals per game. City have scored in three of their last four away games , with three of their four goals coming before the break, so I would not rule out early action in a match which promises goals and where both teams are missing key defenders to suspension, City are without experienced left back Paul Konchesky and the hosts, central defender Martin Skrtel ( missed four home league and cup games this season and Liverpool have conceded in each, including twice to Championship side Middlesbrough).I am going to split a stake across two bets......

1 unit "over" 3.5 goals 2.40-2.60 general quote.

0.75 units Leicester City to score "over" 1.5 goals 4.0- 4.50 general quote, both markets will be traded "in running" by a lot of companies.

    Newcastle v Burnley

Found this great post last week in the "Punters Lounge" which made me a nice bit last week

Newcastle are showing some really crazy stats numbers
    in their home games.

"They have 7 HT draws in their last 7 home games.
Their average GPG (0.29) is the lowest in Europe (shared with Nice).
6 of these games have been 0-0 at HT.
You would expect their 2nd half goals numbers to be better than their first half (can't really be much worse).
In fact, they lead 'more 2nd half goals' category in Europe at 88% of their home games.

This is a trend that they finished off last season with.
In their last 7 games last season they were more goals in the 2nd half in 6 of 7 games.

So in their last 15 home games they have been more 2nd half goals 13 times.
These are crazy numbers, especially when the odds on offer are better than even money.

Going a max bet of 6 units here for more 2nd half goals.
The probability is just to high to ignore, and a price of 2.15 (suggests 46% probability)
is just waaaaaaay off the mark from the bookmakers."

The trend continued last week just!! 2 goals in the first half and 3 in the second - so second half highest scoring half @ 6/5 on Betfair, was going to do first goal after 28th min too @ evens but Burnley away games have beaten that in the last 2/5:(

Bit of a Tidoz bet here but i like it:o

    St Mirren v Kilmarnock

St Mirren 2nd bottom loosing 4/5 at home (they did win last week away) scoring 3 conceding 14 and collecting only 1 point, but the bet i like is that St Mirren lost 3/5 1-0 to the away team. Now Kilmarnmock are no great shakes away gaining only 10 points
Kilmarnock to win 1-0 is 9.5/1 on betfair
    Kilmarnock to win @ 12/5

JUST FOR SMALL MONEY MIND :) - Jees, I really need to get back to work:pac:
