Can't wait to see who gets more thanks, I think the V12 is the most I've seen in this thread.
But the hype of the TRD GT86!

Simonigs1.0 better be sitting on a deck chair in his driveway with a beer in hand staring at his two cars wearing this t-shirt to make up for this delay. I will not accept any other excuse.

Internet would be the last thing on my mind if I had just picked up gt-86!

Too busy reading the owners manual :pac:

I reckon he found a couple of wet roundabouts and is now recovering from a heavy dose of dizziness, and possibly needs new rear tyres.

Was behind one this morning going into Galway a 131 in red.

Nice looking car with small features like the grooves on the roof etc rear is very supraesque.

Not much of a noise out of it though :(

Ah, well in January or so I will begin to improve it a bit - starting with a new exhaust system. The quad Zunsports on the RCZ make a huge difference.

Anyway, I suppose I have dragged it on long enough.

Its got a kinda old Celica look to it at the back that I'd never noticed before.

Are those side skirts/ bits on the bumpers original? They look a bit ill-fitting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,295 ✭✭✭Supergurrier

Love the look you went for.

    That's savage!.

If the wheels are kerbed you're better off with getting rid of the diamond cut face anyway. They don't age well.

    Blonde question
Whats the difference between a bzr and a gt86?
Other than price of course :)

    Same idea as the Rapid/Toledo

Same car, different badge and trim levels. Keeping both dealer networks busy.
Neither manufacturer would have bothered making it alone.

Eh, they've both got a different front grille.
I really, really, really wanted a BRZ (for rarity mainly) but funds didn't allow for any decent models sadly.

Nada, GT86 has nicer seats standard but you can get the Subaru in that a nice blue...

    You meant BRZ:p

I remember something about availability - 10:1 ratio in favour of Toyota. Not sure how true it was, though. Suspension is different, too iirc.

That looks fantastic. Had it in my head it was going to be a red one with the horrible looking Toora style wheels, but that's the business. Best of luck with it.

That bumper, side skirts and quad make it look 10 times better. Are they factory options?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,679 ✭✭✭✭wonski

That is a great looking car btw.

I generally don't like white cars but will add this one to my "exception list":D
Keeping it clean through the winter is probably last of your concerns anyway.

    Enjoy it.

All part of the TRD pack.

Thanks. I've got a garage now that will fit both cars - but, you've guessed correctly - the last of my concerns!

Gorgeous car. Is it a flat white?
Looks to be a pearl effect in it
