Remembering this case back then, that was an area that was suggested on a number of ocassions but back then information itself was very scant as to deem itself reliable enough for further investigation, as some heads ITK, felt that "those close" to the main suspect "may" (and i stress the word "may" ) have had some valuable information that could have helped the investigation even further............

They've searched that farm before & even scanned the land with radar/sonar, I'd be surprised if anything shows up.

I doubt they've checked the whole of killeigh. There's a relatives farm that was left to the man suspected so it could be on the adjoining farms, who knows?

This was reported in October 11. I had dejavu there for a minute when I read "I'll do to you what I did to Fiona."

Heard it on the news that the new search is underway. truly hope for her Mams sake that they discover their remains and the poor woman can have some of her torment eased a little at least

I really hope the Gardai get their man this time, and that they find Fiona....the poor Mother deserves some closure after all she's been through.

There have been numerous cases in this country where the Gardai have searched the same area twice, three times before finding anything. You never know what might turn up.

I think they said on the news that this was a new area, one they hadn't searched before . am open to correction on this though.

I'm from the area where they are searching and in fairness if they are buried in the forestry it could take a while because there would be countless sections to wade through. We are all hoping that they are found and given back to her poor mother. Perhaps they have more precise information than previous searches. I only hope this time will give her some peace! I can't imagine what she has gone through.
