I dont recall him saying 'silliness', but on rewatch he did say college bound.
I'm not sure if he was or not, but whether he was college bound or not, the officer did not know that when he pulled the trigger, and should have no bearing.

Then the decision is handed down, the protesters turn violent, riot, loot, and burn Ferguson and what does the media say? Where's the National Guard?

well i watched the first video of his concert and its populist emotional drivel. He has no interest in the facts of what happened. for him its just of the "race war".
I didnt bother with the second vid as it took place a week after the event when nobody knew the full facts of what happened.

and as for his rapping?? He aint no Wonder Mike.

This is why I have brought his commentary up in this thread, the question was raised as to why this shooting has captured so much attention and so much activity and grown to such exposure. Mike is commenting on the bigger picture and why this has escalated rather than the incident.

Google one of the names, it isn't that hard.

To be honest I don't think they have a place here, hundreds of murders go on daily in the US that don't make the national news. Its impossible to report on every crime nationally, be they perpetrated by black, white, yellow whoever!
What makes this case different is that it was a white cop (sworn to protect) shooting an unarmed black man, who the officer felt was posing a threat and shot in self defence.
