Bluewolf good for her and if Adele was sitting around at home all day doing nothing in her PJ's it's none of Bob Geldof's business.

Bob Geldof is annyoing me at the moment, he had a go at Adele for not taking part in #7?***3Bola saying she was doing nothing. FFS the woman had a baby 18 months ago looking after a toddler is as far from doing nothing as you can get.

I'm delighted she didn't take part.
They're some bunch of hypocritical fookers singing at us about the one disease in Africa that they've decided to preach about this time around.

Probably be branded a racist for this but fúck it: It's annoying enough when someone is on the mobile for an eternity beside you but when they are speaking a foreign language it just seems louder! What is that? :(

I watched it, firstly, havent a clue who a bunch of the people are. I assume some are tv talent show winners that are having their moment of fame.

Looking back at the original song from the 80's, I can still name every singer.

I think some languages just seem louder because of harsh pronunciations.
My sister's husband is from Bosnia and she lived with him, his parents and his brother for a few months a couple of years ago. They had only been living together a little while and she was woken up by them all having a really loud conversation in the kitchen in Bosnian, sounded like an argument. She texted her husband to say "Is everyone fighting? What's going on?" They were just chatting about the shopping :pac:

Oops, just read in paper he fell off his bike. Six fractures, 18 screws, three plates and five hours of surgery.

    Feel a bit bad now.

I felt the same, and yes, I'd know the ones in the 80's.

I even saw a photo of the new one, with their names on today, and didn't know who some of them were. I'm officially old, I guess.

Some of the singers in the new one weren't even born when the original song was done (1984), they should have left it as it was, but now it like those dragged out movie sequels that are never as good as the original

Speaking of getting old - when it's your birthday and for years you've been wishing people didn't make such a big fuss. I didn't mean they forget about it completely! :pac:

I have this weird thing when people hurry me, it actually makes me go slower. It's completely beyond my control*. Whether they are drumming their fingers impatiently on a counter, driving up my rear end, breathing down my neck in a queue or hoping from one foot to another. I just....slow....right.......down so that the ignorant fúckers have to wait longer....

    *honest ;)

I do this when cars crowd me... especially in the dark on a narrow winding road...the more they push the slower I go until there is a safe place to pull off IF they will just drop back for a minute to let me do so ..l kept a boyracer behind me on the Killarney to Moll's Gap road for miles recently.. he was furious:p

Why, oh why can people not spell the word "angel"?. After the horrific tragedy in town yesterday, Facebook was full of "Rest in peace, flying high with the angles". I know people mean well, but this drives me nuts. I feel like commenting " What kind of angles would that be, obtuse or acute??". Obviously , I wouldn't, but only out of respect for the deceased. To me, it kind of detracts from the sentiment when someone can't spell the word correctly.

I do this too when people sound at me, drop a gear and slow down. Keep them behind. Passiveaggression101

My "friend". She just frustrates me so much. It's constant demands. She got married last year and guilt tripped me into driving 70 km (to her house and 70 back, through tolls and all) to tint her eyebrows. It cost me the bones of 40 euro to save her 10.
When my dad was admitted to hospital with heart failure and I honestly thought my dad was going go die, as he was also going through chemo, I text her to tell her. She replied "oh **** does that mean you can't mind the dog?"

I stopped talking to her for a bit after that and when she got pregnant she got back in touch. When her child was born she sent me a link to a baby swingseat on argos that she wanted me to get him as his present, it was 70 odd euro. Now she's sent me a link to his Christmas present, a 40 euro bear, the babog bear that speaks irish to the child. I don't even talk to her much anymore.

Anyway, now she is asking me to do some stuff for her. I said no problem, call over to me this evening, I'll do it. Now she's making me feel so bad saying how she can't really go anywhere with the baby, and how she doesn't like bringing him out in the cold. Blah blah blah

I know, hence why it's bugging me. We aren't what I'd call friends anymore, we've nothing in common which is why I don't call over to her or anything anymore. But after she tells me stuff to get the baby I'd feel mean

Why do you even care? I used to be like you but people just walk all over you. I've had people take advantage of me, not anymore. Know who your friends are, she isn't one! You also have to realise you can choose who you want to be friends with. I only realised this recently!! Let go off negative influences, I have had horrible people try and latch on to me and be my friend. Can't be dealing with that anymore.

You shouldn't feel bad, it's time to grow a set of balls. Best thing I ever done. ;)

People who drive at a snails pace, pretty much the entire road is a continuous white line and then when you can actually pass on the very short stretch of straight road, you indicate and go about overtaking, they start driving faster making it nearly impossible to get out passed them. Why?!

One tootler was under the impression that she was doing people a favour by speeding up on the straight streches 'now, they get do go at their speed for a bit before we all slow down to Driving-Miss-Daisy-rates at the next bend, so everybody's happy' was the gist of her 'reasoning.'

I think I actually scared her as I seethed out my explanation that they probably would like to overtake at that point and continue at their own pace rather than being stuck behind her as she paused at every single bend in case she met oncoming traffic, hit the brake at first sign of anything on the road in front of her and other general Sunday driver shenanigans.

The intro to OMD - Enola Gay is such a god damn killer keyboard piece, but the rest of the song sucks balls in comparison

WTF, so this person is a user who only cares about themselves and you either doing something for them, saving them money or spending money on their kid

I'd be getting well rid of that person, with a text along the lines of
"So you've now sent me requests for 3 presents for your child and when my father died all you could do was exclaim how irksome it was that I couldn't mind your dog, how about you, your dog, your OH and your baby all go and F**K Off and never contact me again you selfish, greedy user"

Or just "No", and keep replying "No" with no elaboration to all of her texts. If ANYONE ever asked me to but them something I'd tell them where to go.
