    1-8, jaysus

Dunno how I even got promoted up here to the Premier Division :p

Still trying hard every week, I'll never tank a season!

To be fair, you were beaten by the top score in the league this week (me)

Your weekly score would've beaten half the league

Haven't you lost your first 3 draft picks this season?

Peterson & Cruz & Spiller were my top three picks.

Ah well, that's FF for you :)

What is the story with Waiver position in this league? I am 15th despite my rank of 14th in the league. Surely I should be second on the waiver wire. I have noticed this before, no idea why I didn't say anything before.

When you claim a player off the waiver you get thrown to the bottom of the pile. All leagues should be the same as this has been the position since day 1

I thought it was meant to reset every week and the lowest rank person in the league should have first pick off the waiver wire. I know that is the way it is done in most non boards leagues.

I think it is fairer that way as it makes the league more competitive as it gives a better chance to the guys at the lower end of the league. Presumably the person who hasn't taken anyone off the waiver wire has a better team. So then the one week that there is a player that everyone wants the best team will get him.

This is my first year in the premier but I was fairly sure that it wasn't this way in the other divisions I have been in. Maybe I am wrong.

It was like this when you and I were in Division 1 last year. All boards divsions are the same.

I made no waiver pick last week so I jumped from 16 to 5. It's a reward for not diving in every week and biding your time

    I like the rule

Was it? I was doing better the last few years so obviously never noticed :pac:. But I do think it should be the other way as it allows the weaker teams to improve.

Like some people just stream their Ds, playing the best D's each week from the waiver wire. Bit unfair that that makes them at the bottom of the list.

If you are changing your D or kicker every week people should be smart to wait until those days were they are open as FA and not on waiver. Taking a FA doesn't affect your waiver spot where as claiming a guy on waiver does. If folk are wasting waivers every week they will be #16 permanently really.

Unfortunately I have been wasting my picks :).

I think we voted on this early on. I was also caight out a few years ago (amongst others) and we then voted to keep it.

I use waivers and free agency a lot but I prefer the way we have it now

Surprised I was the only one that took a gamble on Adrian Peterson. Thought I would have no chance of getting him as I was 15th on the waiver wire.

I had a claim in for AP but I'm desperate for a back this week so I needed Terence West first. I got West so I'm happy

Know how you feel. AJ Green was my first pick and more often than not he is injured.

4 wins may be enough to dodge relegation but more likely it'll be 5

I've moved to 2-8, let the winning streak commence! :D

3 weeks left to save my skin

dissapointing to come up against a team that didnt bother their hole to setup a team last week. Nice to win a game of course but really sucks the enjoyment out of it.

Opponent left Brady, Pats defence and a WR (I cant remember who) in their team.

I mean FFS you can set your teams up for byes weeks in advance. Theres no excuse at all.

I thought that moving up to the Prem division would mean playing with 15 other guys who actually made an effort, but seems Im mistaken.

How many inactive players do we have in the division?? (need them to get kicked out so I can stay haha)

Most are active up until today and then there is a few they were active last week but not recently. Honestly I keep an eye on it and guys are active.

As for teams not changing guys. Sounds daft but I rolled with 3 bye week players in one of my other leagues as I had no replacement due to the waiver and FA being ****. Made sense to hang on to the guys I had.

There could be a plausible reason as to why he did it. He last logged in Nov 2nd which was 2 Sundays ago. But one thing to consider the game in London could be a reason not to log in or he was just away or busy. I wont get concerned yet until guys go inactive for a longer period per rules.

Other than my paid leagues this is the most competitive league Im in including activity. You will always get guys go missing on particular weekends. It happened me last season I missed two sundays in a row and was unable to change my lineups correctly.

I generally agree with people going missing is a pain but up until now the Prem league has been solid for attendance.

I just wish there was a bit more trade activity and "banter" in here. Like at times you may aswell be playing with strangers on the NFL.com site.

Why don't you start the banter and we all shall follow :)

Im good either way. If banter starts I will join in, if not it doesn't bother me.

League starting to shape up nicely though. 4 teams on 7-3 and a few on 6-4 and others on 5-5 and then the rest. Still plenty of wins and losses left to make that last playoff push.
