    Just finished this acrylic on canvas painting the other day.
    It had been started last year, and sat uncompleted for over 12 months.
    I threw it back on the easel and finally finished it off, first painting in some 9 months!
    It's a view of Wicklow St from Grafton St in Dublin.

    So much talent on this thread.
    Sheet lead is a material i have worked with for many years and recently, threatening for so long, i decided to try make a few art..y pieces with it.

    I inhereted a few hundred slide pictures that were taken in the 1960's. So last weekend I bought a sheet of 5mm polycarbonate, the type you'd find on a light box....

    With some glue and tile spacers we set about attaching the slide pics to the white board...

    I'll be getting it properly framed soon with remote control dimmer lights set in the of the frame but heres how it looks with a reading light placed behind it...
