Personal project along side class work.

Never done a screen printed concertina book - so this is the out come.
Not too happy with it but its a practice, may make more on my own time.
(Blurred out address, don't fancy any of you rocking up at the door):P

Started a personal project based on ugly ceramic's in the V&A

I plan to screen print it in late April - was just for fun and to experiment with layout styles before I start a book project.

This is what I do for relaxation in my Mellow Room. I only use damaged vinyl records that were destined for the dump. Many hours are spent testing the vinyls on my little record player and dancing or singing at the top of my voice (thank goodness, no one can see or hear me ;) )...

I started with making bowls, then display stands, onto clocks, followed by handbags with a few PLAY ME greeting cards in between. Major fun listening to the old records and enjoying the memories that come with it.

Anyone else out there that recycles vinyl records?

I didn't follow a pattern, but it's easy enough to work out.

    Hi there,
I tend to draw real things like engines/motors/aircraft/tanks/boats and so on and we changed out a shower unit in our house and I pulled off the cover and drew what I saw, so you have the main transformer top right, water temperature selection gears bottom right and water in and out on the left. In terms of drawing, there are a lot of straight lines so it's easy to get started and a few curves and a bit of freehand to draw the smaller details so it exercises a lot of different skills. It's different in it's own right and fun to get right, so to speak.
