On what basis will they arrest Nidge?

Fran has Git's fingerbone...he's the one who's up sh1t creek. And let's not forget, it was Darren who killed him.

Although the idiocy of the Traveller lifestyle is also evident. Life expectancy among Travellers is shocking, largely because of the inbreeding and the squalour. I know, it isn't exactly plausible as Nidge's involvement in Gits death was merely cleaning up the mess that his gang members made. My guess though is that Siobhan will tell the guards about the bone. That leaves them with the option of questioning Fran. The only outcome I can see from that is Fran getting done for murder.

Or else.... ratting out Tommy - he was the one who essentially kicked Git to death - and Tommy ends the season in jail?

Edited: My 'Nidge getting arrested for Git' theory seems a wee bit silly now, hadn't really thought it true. The Tommy getting arrested after he wakes up theory could be legit though?

My theory is that Siobhan well call Monynihan and tell him about the accident with Paulie, I'm sure the police could find some way to cover up his death circumstances once they find that Siobhan knows about Fran's finger bone of Git. Thats the way I see the next episode playing anyway.

But they've only moved back to the halting site due to the threat on Patrick's life, no?

As I'm typing that, I'm doubting myself (and I'm one of the ones shouting WATCH THE BLOODY SHOW at the laptop when people ask idiotic questions), but I'm sure I heard them saying that the kid wanted to move back to the house, and Patrick says they can't due to what's going on at the moment

I think it's fair to say that Dano is dead, although that is still somewhat ambiguous due to no aftermath (no funeral, no body in morgue, no news headline, etc). Dano is dead I'm sure. And yes Tony does not care at all about Git: he knew he had a tendency to sexually assault women it was implied and Tony considered the Loughmans as an embarrassment to his organisation it is obvious. Likewise, Tony did not give a hoot for Lizzie either.

Now, of course it was Darren who ultimately killed Git. And Tommy had left him in a near death state. Nidge would surely mention this? Tommy could then go to prison for this (assuming he makes a full recovery). Nidge for something else. And Fran already. Tommy and Fran have had generally poor relations in the past but if Tommy lives, I feel he and Fran will become friends and work against their common enemy.

I was thinking Paulie would become more the Dano of this season. Perhaps, he is more Git? A coverup of what happened will be organised by Nidge and it may be Terence, when he finds out, who becomes the Dano character next season out to get Nidge (Paddy Ward clearly is this role this time around).

On looking back at the show they discovered he couldnt act to save his life and looked about 12.

That said we could see him yet.

Do you remember the trailer for the start of this season, when it showed Lizzy putting on the balaclava before she got shot? Just that 2 second clip on the trailer, I was fully sure that was Wayne; after all, he got shot in the back a few times but there was a chance he might have still been alive. Thought that he was going to creep up half way through the season and go after Nidge.

Wayne's friend may well have a role to play yet, he'll do any thing for money. I think he will do one or two more jobs for Nidge this season, but he could have a big role to play in season 6 - possibly culminating in him rising to the very top by killing Nidge. Makes sense in one regard, there is that common gangland tale of the 'young ruthless criminals killing their boss to take over'.

Regarding the young detective, it was reported a few months back that he has been auditioning for other stuff but will definitely be appearing in this season of Love/Hate. He could come into the fore in the last 2 episodes, not sure how it would link in with the storyline though.

Anyone know where the jail scenes are filmed? Quite the setup they have and I know they have a big production budget so I guess they could build it but I'm just wondering are they maybe using a wing of a jail somewhere?

I know Kilmainham has been used in lots of films but it looks darker and doesn't have the main hall that other productions had

Filmed in Wheatfield as far as I know.

She is his sister. His wife is a long black haired woman.

FYI, she wasnt Sharon Curley or at least not in the Snapper anyway. The part of Sharon Curley was played by Tina Kelleher. Kelleher later played Garda Ambrose's wife in Ballykissangel.

I think the actress who plays Patricks sister may have played the daughter in 'The Van' and also the Family. Her real life brother Ruairi Conroy (Tayto from Into the West the crazy lad from six shooter and he also played one of the injured Stardust victims in the drama of the same name) played her brother in the Van and Colm Meaney played the dad.

I could be wrong but I think the actress you refer to was in Roddy doyles the family as the daughter. I got the impression that she is playing Patrick' s mother or sister. She referred to Patrick's wife as 'not one of us' and 'a country woman' .
