Worst episode of any series to date. Series just hasn't come together at all.

Fair bit of last series was worse imo..

Sets up the last 3 episodes really well!

    Who said he was dead?

The fact he visited his grave and has a memorial card for him is a bit of a giveaway.

Its a son who died before the show, not related to the storyline other than Patrick said not being able to visit his grave was a reason for coming back from the uk.

How can a show with so few episodes cause so much confusion for people. Theres only abouy 15 characters to remember.

There's only 6 episodes a season and some people here still can't remember who's who for some reason, or things that happened only last season.

I think when its viewed as part of the six episodes this one will be viewed much more favourably then it is as a standalone

Total bollocks. That whole pub drugs scene was just cringe worthy. And the acting seems to have dropped through the floor. That Paulie actor is borderline laughable.

the scene with Siobhan teetering on the edge of the roof went on far too long.......................it looked like the bow of the ship scene from Titanic

ok who was bundled into the car there?
    i'm completely lost now.

Poor lazy writing again. In the middle of a gang war dean opens the door for a pizza he didn't order ? Jaysus this is rubbish.

The amount of great writers on this thread. Stuart Carolan must be ****ting himself. Hopefully they let the critics that are qualified to do better, write season six. Some of the **** on this thread is more picky that a pick n mix.

I don't think Noellie is going to feature again in the series.

    Great timing!

Slow enough episode, but some good stuff.

Can't say I liked how it cut straight from the Garda scene about the guy complaining about the pursuit of Nidge to the scene about him being reprimanded about it. If I remember it correctly that is.

In fairness you could say the same about the majority of Yanks watching Breaking Bad. The sad truth is that the world is populated with folk who have the memory of goldfish...

This thread is unreal, the amount of posters who don't seem to know anything about characters or storylines is unbelievable!

Its like some of them just watched one episode.

Let me guess, you work for the Irish Film Board and live in Galway?

Something seems off about these last few episodes. Acting, production values, plotlines, all on the decline. Seems thrown together.

I really hope Tommy either dies or wakes up in the next episode. I'm getting pissed off at his 1 bedridden scene per week.

According to some this is as good as, if not better than The Wire.

It was a very slow drawn out episode and that wasn't due to a lack of killings. The whole pub scene was hilariously bad. It was like watching some crap from the 1990's. The episode did pick up a bit but by then I was nearly asleep.

A huge problem in my opinion is that people spend the whole episode on their laptops or phones commenting on the show and then end up missing out on stuff.

Yeah. Decline is there for all to see. Plot holes and pacing issues everywhere. There for all to see. Emperor has no clothes except the sheep of Eire don't wanna look....
