Because I feel like I'm inconveniencing and robbing her!

    :D:D

I can't stop saying that in real life since you posted it a few weeks ago. It's actually the funniest phrase and I don't even know why

It's funny because it is jovial, informal, friendly and colloquial and yet has a faint hint of menace and foreboding when said in a Norn Iron accent, which is the phonetic way I say and spell it. :D

The norn accent is how I'm practicing it but since I sound like I'm 6 years old, it's not quite at the menacing stage. NEEDS MOAR PRACTICE

Ok - use this as an exercise: Turn your head sharply towards the person, gritting your teeth and hissing slightly like a mechanic about to royally fleece your mother-in-law, and let a roar "See ye hi! Shut yur fuckan MOYTH!!" :pac:

Knobs on bikes cycling across pedestrian crossings.

'STOP, that fcuking bitch is going to cross' said the missus as some fatársed bint on a bike was getting her angles right on the footpath to swing across the road.

'I will in my ****' says I 'she can go and fcuk herself' and on I drove.

A relative going mad because her young kids aren't invited to her friend's wedding. I use weddings as an opportunity to f*ck the kids off on a babysitter and spend at least a whole precious 24 hours without them (even if I do generally hate a traditional Irish wedding) What type of person wants to bring their kids to a wedding rather than using it as an excuse to dump them for the weekend

because they want their parade their little darlings around in mini costumes as the 'mini beautiful people'. The same parents want to see if such darlings can become page boys or flower girls? - well they want to maximize their chances.

Women not washing their hands after using the toilet. Ugh. Twice in the last two days, I've seen this happen. Straight out the door after using the toilet. Then I'm left thinking, now I have to try and open that door that their unwashed hands were on. Yeuch.

One of my daughters is a flower girl for my brother in laws wedding this winter (his third wedding!!) and it's the biggest annoyance ever. I must have been on a skype call with the bride to be at least once a month since the summer in relation to it. The amount of fuss is unbelieveable and when the dress finally arrived and the young one, who is four, tried it on she exclaimed that she hated it and wanted to wear a spiderman costume instead! I have a feeling she may cause the bride to have a meltdown on the day as my daughter is a right stubborn mule like her mother :D

It's a bit more than trivially annoying but this seems like the most appropriate thread! Our youngest was admitted to hospital for two nights after a trip to A&E on Friday. The quality of the food they serve is beyond shocking. I'm sure it must affect the recovery time of some of the patients who are in there for longish periods of time.

I've never seen anything as bad, even in my work canteen! Lots of the kids were being prescribed laxatives and I wouldn't be surprised if it was due to the poor diet they were being forced to consume.

We ended up bringing in a few bits and pieces of our own for her, such as fresh fruit as it was next to impossible to get. And don't get me started on some on the parents who were arriving in with McDonalds, pizzas, starbucks frappacinos etc. for their kids. The whole thing was shockingly eye opening.

I'm all for the recycling of foood packages etc. but the having to wash them before putting them in the recycling bin is a right pain in the gonads

    Learn to cook? :)

I'm amazing at cooking but I don't eat beef, fish, most meat actually and my oh doesn't feel fed unless he's full of dead animals. After working all day, last thing I want to do is come home and cook two different dinners.

Ceramic bowls that get surface-of-the-sun hot in the microwave while their contents remain resolutely tepid

That Dunnes don't see normal plastic bags anymore. I want a twenty something cent bag for my few bits of shopping. Not a seventy cent fancy one. I have a mountain of them! I wanted to use the plastic bag to line my bin.

In Supervalue they have these tiny little metal trollies for children. Yes I am sure your children are cute pushing these trollies but not so cute when they ram them into someones leg.

Ram your trolley into them and see how they like it.

I'm not allowed in super value anymore.

The scummy looking fella who just passed by my house swigging a can of Dutch gold, takes knac*er drinking to a new level.

It's annoying enough as it is in supermarkets trying to get around without bumping a child who is playing with a football/pram/scooter/hurley or bike, without giving them their own trollies, and that's not including the twats who block aisles having a chat while their offspring run wild. I can see my husband visibly tense when we go shopping because he knows I'm going to rant and rave while we're in there.:D
