Being, *cough*, 'in the mood', planning an 'early' night and arriving upstairs to find the OH doubled over in agony on the toliet evacuating the contents of his stomach due to some bug. Killed the 'mood' quite quickly did that!!

That's the male version of the "headache":D

Speaking of headaches, I'm trivially annoyed that I woke up with one. :(

My children regularly humiliate me in public. I was reminded of an incident as I queued up for some chicken fillets today!

While in the queue in the butchers a couple of months ago:

Middle Child: pointing in the the general direction of my chest, 'Are those your boobs mummy? Nanny has the same boobs. I was looking at them when we were at her house'

I decide to ignore her and studiously study the steak. I've gotten away with this one I think smugly to myself, until I hear Youngest Child's wee voice piping up from the buggy, 'Boobs mummy. Your boobs mummy. Mummy Mummy, me see boobs' She gradually gets louders until she is pretty much just screaming the word 'boobs' at the top of her voice all over the shop.

Phone rang at 10am and it was one of those Indians who wanted to fix my windows.
After stumbling through a bit of Spanish I told him to go for it in English and he have me a big
spiel about viruses and all sorts. I asked him if he thought people were really that fcuking stupid
and that everyone and his dog knew it was a scam to which he promply hung up.

Rachel Allen. I was queuing in Dunnes today and noticed that she's on this weeks RTE Guide cover AGAIN. What the actual fcuk does she have to say in an interview that she hasn't already said. She must be interviewed in the RTE Guide at least once a quarter. I haven't bought that rag for years.

People who say they are going to leave their job because they bought a house closer to their county and then stay in the job anyway because they are so used to it and have the group of mates, work they are familiar with etc that they end up either dragging the ar$e out of leaving for months or even years or just end up staying in the job and commuting as they always did. Make your mind up!

Fashion bloggers who put something deadly up but too late. One of the blogs I follow had this amazing kimono with this pink dress. The kimono was from pennies and is honestly one of the nicest I've ever seen.

So, I ring up 4 different pennies looking for this kimono on the off chance they had my size, and I'd get the OH to go pick it up later. All 4 of them were like "no, that's summer stock. They're gone weeks".

ARAGH!!! :( she only put it up this morning. Tease.

I have no interest in football at all, but I got invited to go for a few drinks with the lads for the match (Man U vs Leicester) so I said why not? :)

I'm sitting here with a crowd of lads all with their phones out and I'm the only one watching the match??

If you can't beat 'em :p

    Here's a good suggestion:

Say "D'you know that Gerrard fella? I've always thought he was very average.".

It'll get them talking at least, make sure there's a few Liverpool fans nearby as well though ;) :P

I love when Mr Pumpkinseeds cleans the bathroom, the trivially annoying bit is that he never dries the toilet seat and I always forget that he never dries the seat, until I'm sliding off it.
