any idea about the cost of starsport? can I pay monthly or just yearly? I am asking because I have no VPN/DNS at the moment and as such I am unable to check on their website

It appears to be 800 rupees for the season (until May 2015). There was a pre-season offer on to get it for 400 rupees for the season, but that is finished now.

You can get cricket and F1 too but you buy those separately. Tennis etc is not available at the moment, I guess those come in the new year?

You will need a Indian VPN/DNS in order to view the packages and sign up as it won't show up if not.

FTR: The Villareal game is on right now. Crystal again so, in my opinion, a clean sweep for Star this weekend. No juddering, no messing about. An occasional degradation in quality or a miniscule buffer (during EPL matches). Other than that, personally, it's been flawless for me. Both on the PC and the Android app.

    Hope that helps. :)

The Bein streaming service isn't allowed to show any EPL matches full stop. The satellite service is allowed.
Okay but as per iba's post, it appears that they are not honouring the satellite service either - as he said the Utd game wasn't broadcast this afternoon. I wonder how many of the 3pm games they broadcast yesterday?

wow...so that's equivalent to eur10? I don't want to hex it - but I'd fear that this can't possibly last. When making payment, is there no issue inputting a non-indian address with visa payment?

Seems to be their going rate. It was the same last season apparently?

I use an Irish address and card payment. No worries at all so far. So long as they don't go crap again. This weekend has been superb, the dubbed post match interviews were the icing on the cake.

No Champions League as far as I know. But they do show the FA Cup it says...

They are restricted to one (and have been for nearly a year).

Sorry, perhaps I was not clear. The Utd match was on on satellite but not on on the internet.

As Radiowaves said, there was one 3pm game on and the early match and the evening match - all on sat, I did not check the internet for these.

Last one to round off the weekend/MNF for a clean sweep.

Hull vs West Ham hasn't started yet, but La Liga is as crystal as always tonight. No judder or messing around so far. :)

Sorry I don't have an iOS device. PC and Android is fine though. Not missing Bein yet. Hope those words don't come back to haunt. :o

That's mad. Dunno what I am doing then?

In my experience it's been near flawless. Compared to the new Bein player there is no contest in my opinion. Couldn't get anything to work properly in that at all.

For a proper weekend of viewing (including Friday and tonight), Star hasn't been a bold lad once. A couple of quality dips, but no buffering, stuttering, crashing etc like I'd get with Bein. La Liga has been even better and the coverage is superb what with all the pre-post match coverage they show.

The app has been very well behaved too. Bein would always take 600 years to load, it'd sometimes crash or give false geoblocking errors causing me to have to reset my phone. The Star app I had on the TV yesterday to watch the Getafe match with the relatives. Played up once because my phone switched wifi networks, but other than that it was near-flawless.

Definitely backing the Star horse so far this season. Though the range of sports and leagues on Bein is missed for sure. :o

Did you try Star this weekend at all? Any use on your side? Hope it works better for you. :)

Damn. That sucks. :( No idea what's going on there, had no issues at all here.

NBC is reportedly good. Though you need a dish subscription no? :(

Shame that we have to do all this just to watch our team play.....
I wonder will a certain irish station keep the one 3 pm game when the next bidding process rolls around..

There is still also the Premier League Pass option, again not ideal but it is still 100 times better than the other streams you find online.

Did they ban some users for viewing outside the region?

Yes, but there are still a large number of users (From reading different forums), including myself who did not receive a ban.

DNS. Nothing else. Just suprised it's not working so great for all. :(

As Joo0 said, the hurdles we have to jump just to catch a bit of sport is ridiculous. All so we can pay Rooney and Falcao's wages.

NBC with Unblock US has been flawless for me , BTW You don't need a relative/buddy in the USA to get an NBC Login , PM for details.
