Why are people keen on getting Silva in?

I have him in from the get-go and I'm considering shipping him out. Not doing enough for £9million.

Doing more than Yaya for 11 million. 1 point again yesterday. He is definitely for the chop today. Get siggy in and hold 4 1/2 million to make my defence stronger.

    Mata to sterling? (Have Rooney)

    Or

    Jovetic to Naismith?

That's what I'm trying to decide. Really torn. Input appreciated.

Don't want no Liverpool cover, but mata more likely to score than jovetic who could end up on bench. But not keen on still owning 3 united players either.

Favouring sterling but tempted by naismiths next two fixtures then a wildcard anyway.

    Tough one.

I'm considering one or both of those. I'll see how Sterling (or Lamela/Eriksen) get on today first. Jovetic to Naismith will mean I can get Aguero in for Rooney easy enough when/if the time comes.

Yaya could have a had a few goals yesterday to be fair. Bit unlucky.

Barring injury I'll likely be doing Debuchy + Mata OUT, Wilson + Sterling/Lamela IN. Will give Rooney one more chance at home to QPR, then I'll be bringing Aguero in for GW5. Form aside, Rooney at home to QPR is still slightly ahead of Aguero away to Arsenal imo. Might even wait another week as Aguero faces Chelsea while Rooney faces Leicester. The guy is fixture proof but we all know what Rooney is capable of on his day! United have to come good eventually :)

Only thing I'm wary of is prices rises and falls. If I go with Sterling I'll only have £0.1m breathing space on the above three transfers, and both Rooney and Mata look like they could drop. They are the two most transferred out players.

I've gone Fletcher out, Naismith in. Allows me to bank £0.3m which may come in handy and I have one FT left if something goes wrong during the international break.

My side for GW4 is currently the below:

I'd be quite happy with that to be honest, even if I wasn't able to make another transfer. However, I'll probably go Mata to Sterling too. It just depends how likely Mata is to drop/Sterling to rise on how quickly I make that transfer over the break.

I see the yellow flag has been taken off Mata which is good, should at least slow down the transfers. Really need Sterling to get a 2 pointer today!

Looking like Mata and Chambers out for Wilson and Sterling at a 4 point hit.

Sterling has too high an ownership and is too dangerous to ignore any longer, not making the Ramsey/Yaya mistake again this year. Originally picked Chambers with the view to transferring him out for a Stoke defender who had become nailed on because there was so much uncertainty surrounding them.

Will have 2.8m in the bank and Rooney and Fletcher firmly on the chopping board also. Considering an 8 point hit to get rid of Fletcher but I can bench him for next GW and still have a strong team.

Mata out to Sterling so. While Mata may well perk up alongside United, Sterling is looking like a must-have.

Rooney gets a stay of execution in my team. Mata and Eriksen out for Sterling and Arfield/King. I think Studge will outscore Sterling the next few matches but as above can't keep getting hurt by Raheem. Plus he'll probably go up in price

I like the look of this.. I plan on cheapening my defence but the question is whether to 3-5-2 or 3-4-3

Looks like it's wildcard time for me... a shame really as I'm pretty happy with my team and any changes could have been done on a weekly basis.

But with Rooney and Mata... I'm not willing to loose 0.3, 0.4m between them during the international break. They'll both prob be in my GW team for GW4.... Will try to make a few bob elsewhere to add to that "saving" while I'm at it.

Villa keeping a CS today would have been a golden egg for 3 * 0.2m rises :(

Mata to Sterling looks like a no-brainer to be honest.

Watch it backfire on me spectacularly :)

Just done the exact same thing, no brainer.

May get rid of Rooney as well, trying to fit a City player into this front 8:

    Siggy Fab Ramsey Sterling Isgrove

    Costa Rooney Ade

im honestly hanging onto mata till the next gw, i might use my wildcard this week so i can get sterling into my team before his price goes up to much.

I can only see two options of getting a city player in there.

    1. Fab-> Silva.

    or

    2. Rooney-> Aguero

Did Mata to Sterling. The sole reason I'm tempted to use my wildcard is to do Rooney to Ageuro; can't do it without a couple more transfers. Not sure if it's enough of a reason.

My next priority is Eriksen to someone. I have 0.3 banked, my other mids being Ramsey, Fabregas, Siggy, and now Sterling. I'm thinking Lamela or trying to free up funds for Silva.

    Why? Your mid-field is excellent.

Doing pretty well at the moment and just after bringing in Sterling for Mata with my free transfer. I'm not sure about Eriksen and Rooney but wildcarding isn't worth it at this stage I think.

Anybody else thinking of hanging on to Rooney?

Same. Just need to avoid Sterling getting injured over the international break. If none of my other players f**k themselves I'll probably take a 4 point hit to dump Debuchy. Struggling for defenders next week and need to free up some cash to bring in Aguero.

Yes. He may drop by 0.1 but its QPR at home next and I expect Utd to be a different animal with injured players back.

Most likely will since Mata and Eriksen are bigger priorities to get rid of with my 2 FTs. Hopefully only 0.1m drop on Rooney

I'm giving him one last week. Mata's gone though. If Rooney can't score at home against QPR, then all hope is lost!

This is me too. Initially after the United match he was gone in my head, but now I feel Jovetic will be the one to go (I think Aguero and Dzeko may start next game) and if I do that along with my intended transfer for this week (Ramsey out) I can bring Costa in for Jovetic and I'm happy enough, just have to figure out my 6.7 or under midfielder, possibly Zaha so I can bulk up my defence in future weeks.

Was just looking at fixtures to decide whether to get costa or aguero instead of him and decided He will have to stay for now ,his fixtures are far better

    Krul - Loris

    Ivanovic - Hutton - Dummet - Kaboul - Clyne

    Ramsey - Silva - Fabregas - Sigurdsson - Larsson

    Naismith - Rooney - Costa

    Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of using my FT to swap Silva out and bring Sterling in? Or should I get rid of Hutton/Dummett or even get rid of Rooney because his price will probably drop.
