As matter of interest why did you WC,cos you have had bad start or have load of injuries,or imminent price rises?

So this is my team so far with 1.1 m in the bank... Haven't got a clue what to do with the team.. Be grateful for any suggestions :)

Lloris, Krul... Thinking of buying Courtois instead of Lloris

    Ivanovic, Kompany, Zabaleta, Hutton, Baines

Fabregas, Oscar, Rodwell, Cattermole, Mata... Thinking of Di Maria while his price is low instead of Mata?

Aguero, Naismith, Vaz Te.. Should I get another big name up front.. Had Costa with Aguero but sold him cost of potential injury...

    Thanks..

Way too much spent on defence.
    Keep Kompany.
    Downgrade Ivanovich, Zabaleta and Baines.
Use the money to upgrade Oscar, Rodwell and Vaz Te.

You need to choose some of the following - Ramsey, Silva, Rooney, Adebayor, Siggy, Sterling and Lamela for example.

Kept Costa in think he will play some part so hope for a win. Transferred Coleman for Baines as I think he is the better option of the 2 why I bought Baines at the start I have no idea

Wildcard activated. Came up with this. Any opinions?

Guzan as you only keeper could be a problem, villa have awful fixtures. Krul at the same price is a better option as newcastle have a better defense and better fixtures. Might need to switch dummett if you don't wanna double up on the toon.

2 united in attack is too much based on their form. Mata is the best route into their attack. If you could find 1.5m somewhere to upgrade rooney to aguero?

Have a nice cup of tea, an extra sugar and give it a good stir :)

Now you were very happy just 2 nights ago, what has really changed? Nothing. Aguero is still an injury concern and facing a tough run of fixtures. The CL will be a priority this year and Munich is sandwiched in between Arsenal and Chelsea. Jovetic is the smart play there.

Ade goes up .1 but these things happen. A blank and people might be shipping him out again. See there Mick is happy with his tea and wants you to have one too and come to your senses.

Wildcarding on a Thursday night before the transfer window and a 2 week international break. Madness I tells ya :)

Hmm, it is possibly my favourite Mick gif.

Looking at my short to medium term plan I really didn't want Aguero and Ade to rise so soon. Doubts creeping in that I'm holding onto the idea of keeping the wildcard in the face of all evidence against.

Looking at options again properly and think I'm ok.

    Thanks Super Mick.....

I never knew Mick McCarthy looked so creepy until I saw that gif.

I'm wondering if basing all major FPL decisions this season on Mr Prodstons gif library might not be a bad idea.....

I won't do anything until next week tbh.

I will play Naismith or 1 more defender if Costa is out.

No need to panic yet, can do Costa - Aguero later in the week.

I still do nothing. No more transfers.

It is so nice to see all the panic around:D

I am a bit worried about the prices now when so many players are about to activate a wildcard. I must resist and stay away from the forum.

I had to bring the big Mick out tonight with all your crazy talk though!

It might work for as long as I remain rationally minded but I think we all know I'll never last the season playing it calm, cool and composed :o

To change the subject slightly.....Van Aarnholt (QPR a) or Hutton (Hull H)?

Hutton seems the obvious choice but can Villa really keep three clean sheets in a row. Van A could be up for attacking returns but Caulkers goal will deny him the clean sheet... :)

I have to use Hutton because I can't play Chester - which means you should play the first one;)

Planned team is here, was tempted to us the wildcard but will hold fire until transfer window closes.

DeGea is the only weak link there tbh. Their defence is poor and, regardless of the "easy" game I would get rid of him just in case.

If, however, You used free transfer by now keep him there. There always is the first clean sheet.

I am going to leave Costa as a first sub, better option than Pieters away to City.

Yup, already used my FT this week to replace Bojan with Naismith, may change subs around as you suggest, in fairness I'm a noob to the game, played a little last year but the last time I played before that was in the Saturday papers!

I am thinking of benching Naismith and putting Costa in instead.

Not a bad team, and - just so you know - I am not a pro. Leaving the wildcard is a good move though. I play it safe this season, too.

There were reports earlier indicating that Costa will be out for 6 weeks, then that he's out for months with a torn hamstring, then Chelsea said he may play this weekend...

Not sure what to believe really.

Very seriously considering using the WC now.. It would involve making 7 transfers and having 2.8 million in the bank to bring Costa back when fit.. Thoughts please on potential new team.. Too many of current team falling in price and players I want going up

    Lloris Myhill
Azpil Lovren Dummet Ferguson (hull) Mangala (he will soon be a first teamer for City)
    Ramsey Fab Sig Sterling JWP
    Rooney Jovetic Anichibe

    I done it lads.

    Costa > Aguero

    Mata > Siggy

I was always planning to bring in Aguero in sooner rather than later. I don't want to wildcard until the second international break if needed.

Took my second 8 point hit in a row to bring in Wisdom and Aguero (for Rooney and Lovren) after jumping on the Naismith bandwagon earlier in the week.

So are we all in agreement Costa won't play?

This is the only decision I have, and I went with Van Aanholt. However with Costa probably injured I'll likely end up fielding both.

Again, wait for the press conference today before making any decisions

No rush here. If Costa is out, I will transfer him for a one week punt, then wildcard.

Lads do I persist with Felipe Luis or get rid?

Same as. Just a matter of who is autosub and who definitely starts. And I had it on van A all week too.

The pricing situation is very annoying, I transferred Aguero in for Costa yesterday because I thought he was rising and wouldn't have been able afford otherwise and he didn't rise. Would have loved to have been able to hear what both managers had to say today, having a little regret about the transfer now.
