    I really hope my uniform still fits me :rolleyes:

    What with my tablet, eBooks, insurance, fees etc, it'll be tough to have to get a whole new uniform!

    Time to starve methinks.

    I'd just wear anything as i dont care about looks as long as i am wearing clothes permitted by my school

    I've always wondered about people who use tablets in school, do you prefer it to using physical books and copies? I know it'd be easier on your back but honestly I'd hate to use a tablet in school, and I'm someone who loves technology and stuff like that!

    Well the first years (and now second years) use tablets in my school.

    They use them for pretty everything and it's mandatory.

    Whereas in my year it's optional.

    I love technology, often read eBooks so I can't see how it'll be much different to be honest.

    Too late to back out now so we'll just have to see how it goes! :pac:

    Can imagine being stared at for the first week or so but that's about it.

    Yeah, definitely good to have the option alright.

    I read pretty much every day, love books and even an odd women's magazine :pac:

    Take a break, that's life and all those nonsense magazines :pac:

    I'd say I've a collection well into the hundreds by now.

    Yeah I agree that the feel of a book can't be beaten, turning actual pages, the smell and all that but the fact that I can carry around a tiny tablet and have all my books in it makes it worth it for me!

    Oh god, I haven't a clue where my uniform is. My uniform is massive so it'll be grand. A tablet would be cool. Then again, the highlighter addiction wouldn't be the same...

    I'm the same, I love reading but my bookshelf being full of books gives me way too much satisfaction to use ebooks! If I get a free ebook off iBooks I'll downloaded so I have something to read if I'm bored and don't have a book with me but other than that, real books all the way!:D

    I hate those magazines so much :P The stories about people marrying their stalkers and their childrens ex-husbands drive me crazy :pac:

    Yeah, I can easily get into an eBook just as easy I could with a real book. 7" is perfect for a book IMO but for a school book... I'm not sure.

    Oh I love those magazines! Every story has to be made up or extenuated but they're so enjoyable.

    I married my wife's sister! I slept with my Grans nurse! I cheated at my wedding!

    Makes for some good reason :pac:

    Not great on the aul braincells though :P

    Yeah in 3rd year I could only study if I coloured in every line with highlighters. I had flashcards and five highlighters, so everything was in coloured stripes. They probably didn't actually help with studying, but they stopped me dying of boredom.

    I can't stand them! The only magazines I can read are celebrity ones or like Vogue or something classy like that :pac:

    Our school always just organises a bus to the open days around the country for all the 6th years. They can pick and choose what open days they wanna attend :)

    I'm gonna attend some myself this year or try to drag some of my friends along :pac:
