Final draft (definitely not round to make changes tomorrow):

    DDG (Myhill)

    Chambers Terry Caulker (Vlaar, Naughton)

Eriksen Cazorla Fabregas Siggy (El Hamadi)

    Costa Rooney Bony

My only concern is that I have two outfield Swansea players who are away to Utd.

I feel they will score & Siggy and/or Bony will be involved.

With that said, why do I have DDG in nets? I need Utd coverage defensively as I feel LVG will have them set up to keep clean sheets over the course of the season.

Any thoughts? Potential alterations in goals / defence to cover this (bearing in mind I want to keep Utd defensive coverage)?

Decent-looking team. Not sure about doubling up on Swans attackers though. And re. Cazorla - surely you have to find the extra 0.5M needed to upgrade to Ramsey?

Go with Giroud for week 1 and switch in Bony after that

Team has a nice look to it. 1 thing stands out though: No Arsenal or Liverpool or City attacking coverage. That could REALLY hurt you.

Wouldn't be sold on Diouf either, but that's up for debate.

Over-reliant on 2 teams (Man U and Chelsea), could work, but overly-risky i.mo., i'd be spreading my budget a little wider amongst the top teams

    Done this!

However Ive also done a bit of flipping around

    In Out
    Ramsey Cazorla
    Silva Eriksen
    Rio Caulker
    Hutton Vlaar
    Naughton Hooiveld

    Over-reacting? Should of stuck?

    Final squad:

    Goals: Begovic (Krul)
Defence: Smalling, Lovren, Debuchy (Coloccini, Cameron)
Midfield: Henderson, Yaya, Mata, Ramsey (Shelvey)
    Strikers: Bojan, Giroud, Rooney.

Didn't want to leave out Toure in case he had a flyer on Sunday, but the option is open to change to Fabregas and Eriksen/Costa over the coming weeks.

    That didn't take long :)
Maybe downgrade Hazard to Fab and then you can have Siggy.
You only had 3 strong mid and 2 strong forwards... Not ideal

Also, doubt the points difference between Ramsey and Sanchez is worth £1.5m, when you can then have two £6m midfielders.

    GK: Mannone

DEF: Shawcross - Debuchy - Terry

Mid: Mata - Henderson - Ramsey - Fábregas

    Fwd: Costa(C) - Rooney (V) -Bojan

    Subs:
Foster -Young - Hutton - Chester

Any feedback appreciated!! Only issue I have is zero confidence in starting Bojan..

You'd expect a front two of Dzeko & Jovetic, at least until Aguero recovers.

Last ditch at messing with my team, fairly happy with what i'm on now but it leaves me with 1mil in the bank that i'm itching to spend so had another bit of a tinker.

    Opinions on:

    (current team)

    De Gea

    Terry
    Pieters
    Van Aanholt

    Fabregas--Ramsey--Mata--Sigurdsson

    ----Sturridge---Rooney---Fletcher----

    Subs: Gilks(gk), King, Moore, Taylor

    Vs

    (possible team)

    Mannone

    ----Terry
    Jones
    Wilson----

    Fabregas---Ramsey---Mata---Sterling

    Costa---Rooney---Fletcher

    Subs: Krul(GK), King, Moore, Bruce

The thinking being that it allows me to bring Costa in who has a really nice run of games to begin with and bump Sigurdsson up to Sterling to still give me solid Liverpool attacking cover, i see Liverpool continuing to score lots of goals and Sterling having a great season being more involved in Liverpool's attacking chances with Suarez gone.

Defence takes a bit of a knock to allow the move as i had to free up £.5mil for the move but i don't think it's suffered too badly. Jones can easily be swapped for Evans when fit again if needs be etc. Bit of a question mark over Wilson for Stoke starting but FFS seem to think he will and at £4.5mil you cant ask for better really with Stokes opening fixtures if he does.

Maybe i should just step away from the laptop and leave my team alone, like i said i'm quite happy with my current selection it's just that £1mil it leaves me with annoying me!

Draft No.2 ... still very undecided between Giroud and Dzeko - any thought lads and ladies?

Maybe put Bruce in for Dummitt. More chance of playing and I don't think 2 Newcastle defenders is a great idea.

    Long or Jelavic?

Same team as me except for defence. I'd get rid of Kelly, signed for Palace and Pulis confirmed gone tonight. Not nailed on given that they have no manager, obviously. If Kelly is £4.5 then Chambers is a good shout for the short-term, imo.

Ramsey & Jelavic. Better options than Jelavic available for less (Fletcher 5.5)

    Bojan or Fletcher ?

    First 5 fixtures.
Bojan : villa, hull, man city, leicester, QPR.
Fletcher : west brom, man united, QPR, spurs, burnley.

Thought about giving bojan a 2 gameweek chance at the start since fletcher is playing man utd on GW2.
Could transfer fletcher in after that though, he's a bargain at 5.5

    what you guys reckon ?

Seriously considering getting Giroud in now as my 3rd Arsenal player since Pulis has left Palace 2 days before the start of the season. The Palace players won't be in the right frame of mind at all. Arsenal could put a fair few past them.

    Begovic

    Lovren
    Cahill
    Chambers
    Blackett

    Eriksen
    Herrera
    Coutinho
    Fabregas

    Rooney
    Costa

    Subs:
    Krul
    Bojan
    Sigurdsson
    Bruce

After seeing City in the Charity Shield have completely stayed away from them at the start of the season and lumped for three United and three Chelsea - their starting fixtures look kind.

Will rotate Krul/Begovic or long term look to bring in the first choice Chelsea keeper if Jose makes up his mind!
