Shane Lowry going well on -3 and putting very well. Would love to see him get another top ten to go with the open finish.

Just like I said back to -2 now. :)

I'm extremely confident he'll win this, honestly can't see him losing, even a couple of bad holes and he can still run away with it.

That's why he needs a really bad round or more not to win. He's got a couple of low 60's potentially in him after this.

Now a 3 putt from 30 odd feet for a bogey. Needs to settle down.

Jaysus, #1 in the world 3 putting from 30 feet? That's him out of the Ryder cup so.:)

    That's magic from Rory.
This time last year this exact round would have been dead after the 2 bad holes.

Rory is now doing what Tiger did at his peak. Couple mistakes cancelled out just like that with 3 birdies in a row. Doubt he'd have bounced back like that 12 months ago

I'll be stunned if he doesn't win. This is a okish round by his standards.

That's why I said he needs a bad round or more for somebody else to even have a chance.

McIlroy can afford to have a 72/73 and still win by 6 shots.

Shot tracker for a Major, about time. Can't wait for this to get going.
I love these (saw one for the first time for the Bridgestone) :)

Really wish one could zoom in farther on the green, though, as the icons for putts closer than a few feet apart are 'stacked' - hard to tell what went on. Also, a different colour icon for 'in the hole' would be nice, as there's usually a little delay before the hole score goes up; (can see status on mousing-over the putt icon, but still, immediate 'at-a-glance' clarity could be improved. Oh, and I wish the Green-view didn't reset to Entire Hole on autorefresh...
    Are you listening, PGA?

    No  :p

When Rory's in this form its how many by not if. You feel the field is already fighting for second place.

A routine 340 yard drive from Rory there on 16. Not many birdies on this hole today but would love to see him birdie his way home.

Rory Rory... this is sick. Had he finished 1 under after his blip I would have been impressed.
He is going to walk this.

It would be interesting to see if he has a strong challenger this time (assuming there is one). Sergio is the best challenger anyone can wish for.

Super course from the armchair fans point of view for the last major, personally found the us and British opens a little crappy to watch on the box!

That river on the 15th is collecting a lot of balls at the moment.

Only a matter of how many Rory wins by now. Would expect him to win by 15-20. At least.

Absolutely... He'll break Jack's record by this time next year in this form.

I think he can the 'rory slam' holding all four majors by the US Open next year.

YES my post is a bit more serious. :D
