    Pity V was cancelled...

People should remember when they are laughing at the bible that the people of Gaza are made up of Muslims and Christians who believe in in the Quran and the bible.

Hamas who rule Gaza want the constitution to be base on the Quran.

    Interesting article:

    adsagainstapartheid.com/israeli-extremist-tries-to-remove-palestinian-flag-gets-caught-on-barbed-wire-video

Sad and ridiculously funny all at once.

What would have happened if the International Observers were not there?

"And God said unto them, go forth and buy a flatscreen tv"

    Sony 16:9

Okay, that joke mightn't be progressing the debate along but I seriously worry for humanity when in 2014 we're using religious texts and 2000 year old claims to land in order to justify shelling schools, hospitals and children playing on a beach.

Saudi King calls Israelis war criminals and terrorists

RIYADH (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah broke his silence on Friday over the three-week-old conflict in Gaza, condemning what he saw as international silence over Israel's offensive and describing this as a war crime and "state-sponsored terrorism".

Well they're clearly deluded as we've already established that God has promised the land to the jewish people so they're out of there. Followed by the flood and then Noah's Ark.

Some excerpts from the post that got deleted on the times of Israel
Multiple Twitter users took screenshots of the entire column before it was deleted; one such shot appears below. I've excerpted some "highlights" here:

…it's now obvious that the US and the UN are completely out of touch with the nature of this foe and are therefore not qualified to dictate or enforce the rules of this war—because when it comes to terror there is much more than meets the eye.

I wasn't aware of this, but it seems that the nature of warfare has undergone a major shift over the years. Where wars were usually waged to defeat the opposing side, today it seems — and judging by the number of foul calls it would indicate — that today's wars are fought to a draw. I mean, whoever heard of a timeout in war? An NBA Basketball game allows six timeouts for each team during the course of a game, but last I checked this is a war! We are at war with an enemy whose charter calls for the annihilation of our people. Nothing, then, can be considered disproportionate when we are fighting for our very right to live…

News anchors such as those from CNN, BBC and Al-Jazeera have not missed an opportunity to point out the majority of innocent civilians who have lost their lives as a result of this war. But anyone who lives with rocket launchers installed or terror tunnels burrowed in or around the vicinity of their home cannot be considered an innocent civilian...

I will conclude with a question for all the humanitarians out there. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clearly stated at the outset of this incursion that his objective is to restore a sustainable quiet for the citizens of Israel. We have already established that it is the responsibility of every government to ensure the safety and security of its people. If political leaders and military experts determine that the only way to achieve its goal of sustaining quiet is through genocide is it then permissible to achieve those responsible goals?

    http://gawker.com/here-is-an-israeli-paper-column-titled-when-genocide-i-1614631309

It some kinda nut that can liken the help for the innocents caught between these two to time outs in the freaking NBA.

The British would have and the and British army would have been portrayed as keeping those dirty Catholics in their place hence what happened in Croke park and of course Bloody Sunday when country feels itself as untouchable it will do whatever it wants until the rest of the world steps up.

Ah now come on. You can't take it all literally. Some of it is allegorical. Just select what you like and interpret it to fit your agenda and call it something respectable.

This tit for tat exchange is entertaining but the Gaza stuff is worthy of more serious thought.
The last few weeks have pretty well guaranteed the recruitment quota for every radical group aligned to Muslim or Palestinian cause for the next 10-20 years.
Israel cares nothing for that; they live in permanent lockdown and war footing. It's what keeps their ridiculous hotch potch of a country together.
Russian and other immigrants will ensure that Israel will persist in taking any land it can and keep driving the poor old Palestinians deeper underground. And nobody will say boo because - well Israel has the world's media and money moguls by the balls.
That's the way it is. The question is - where will the bombs (literal and metophorical) go off as a result of this?
