    About what?

The existence of a god? Nope. Zilch.

Robert made the claim that there are cases of two heterosexual child molesters marrying, subsequently adopting children and then adopting them.

He has, as expected, diverted onto something else and failed to provide evidence for his claims.

If you can read this, you're too close!

Thankfully people voting in the Referendum for religious based views will only be in the minority. Looking at the poll done on boards recently, only about 20% of people believe in God in modern Ireland. We are slowly moving out of the dark ages and seeing the light as to how bizarre organised religion is. And it can't happen quick enough.

Science !? Is that what the religious are reduced to? Talk about clutching at straws.

We should ban the internet. Its not natural.

Go further, ban computers, because Alan Turing, the "Father of Computing" was gay.

Showing your true colours now Robert.

    Glorious.

I didn't mean anything bad by it. If I think I am more intelligent than some one else it is just me who I am fooling as I am then under estimating that person.

I think that if I slammed my head several times off the wall it would be less painful than reading some of the utter shíte posted in this thread...

Apologies about making another thread, but I thought it would be interesting to see how the people of boards.ie will be voting in the upcoming Referendum.

Only 20% of boardsies that voted in that poll
    But how many voted?
I'm pretty sure about 60% of people who regularly vote consider themselves to be religious
I personally haven't voted since the divorce referendum of '95 and am amuse that it will be 20 years later And another basic right that will incent me to not only vote but to push people to vote. There should be no complacency we need to show the discriminated lgbt population of ireland that we support them

Sorry, I didn't get to add a poll myself, so I've merged the two threads and kept the poll for you.

Last time RobertKK made these allegations, he was talking about Peter Truong

Short version: Truong bought a child for €8000 in Russia, faked papers to list an accomplice, Mark Newton, as the father, and then the two adopted the child, who suffered horrible abuse.

Key facts: they faked the papers. They were not married. They got 40 and 30 years in jail.

Absolutely sweet FA to do with same sex marriage.

Glad you did start a new thread. My OP in the other one was to ask people's opinions on how they thought it would go, based on what they could gauge from people around them. I was worried about the social media majority in favour overlooking the potential opposition who might not be online as much. There's a thread about complacency and what might be done about it in the LGBT forum too.

So far you haven't exactly come across as a person with particularly high intelligence. You've been asked to backup claims but have failed to do so,you always do this in fact. Perhaps we'll get a couple of tabloid articles out of you but the exact same can be done for heterosexual couples. Now come on,some statistical evidence.

I voted in the poll even though I can't vote in Ireland. Do you all forgive me?

Sure if it wasn't for the European court the whole gay thing would be illegal anyway, so why not?

I doubt I know 6 people that would consider themselves religious, nevermind experiencing 60% of people I know being religious.

Wonder what are the non-religious arguments about this?

"Eww two lads dicking each other"

Still a more pleasant thought than some of the hetero couples I've seen, and cannot be unseen.

Just under a year of homophobic f*ckheads like those Iona bastards abusing statistics, lying about science and screaming unrelated fallacies like "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"

I don't know if I'll be able to stomach that much smarmy dishonest asshattery. I mean to try, anyway.

only 48% of people on the electorate voted in the last election
only circa 80% of people are on the electorate that could be so only 39% of people that could vote do.
so 60% of them (my guess) are religious then it only needs 23% of people to be religious and also voters

    i hope i'm mistaken but i believe i'm not

    Very detailed report .

    The police said:
"Detective Sergeant Ian Wells says Truong and Newton were master manipulators, using gay marriage as a cover."

Yet I was called insane for saying paedophiles will use gay marriage as a cover.

they were pretending to be gay married
    one could do that today
also should we ban tv presenters and charity workers as those positions are clearly used as cover for sex offenders

I am voting no because I believe Marriage is for heterosexual couples only. Left-wing liberal beliefs like this are not good for Ireland, like I can never understand why a man would want to marry another man.
"I don't fancy men so therefore men who do, shouldn't be allowed marry men."
    Couldn't make it up.

So Robert - what gives you the self righteousness to vote to prevent others acting in accordance with their conscience?

    Pretty weak argument there.

I am voting for what I believe just as you will.
Your argument reminds me of another contentious argument for a different social issue, where the same argument is used.

I will never vote for something I don't support because others support it. That is what a very weak person would do.
