    I thought the KKK were just as intolerent to Protestants as well as Catholics and that anyone from Britain and/or Ireland do not fit in to the upper class of Ayran they're looking for their ranks.

    Memo to self, set up pillow case store in Belfast.

    The Rising Sun flag is used as the Japanese Naval ensign, and for the military generally. It is true that it is considered offensive in some jurisdictions that were subject to Japanese war crimes, but I personally enjoy the fact that it pisses off the Chinese. :D

    The national flag of Japan has the same Sun emblem but no red bars. It is also used in Caaark to indicate the presence of a curry-house.

    A lot of people would have been of Ulster scots extraction in the southern states when the Klan was at it's peak. Catholics weren't allowed to join until the 1970s when their membership began to rapidly decline.

    Paisley made a tour of the southern states to raise money some years back, he spoke in the KKK halls and arenas, when the press got wind of it he cancelled the remainder of the tour and hightailed it back to the occupied counties.
    Nothing new in the contacts between Loyal blood and the KKK. Let them fly their fleg, they are only making fools of themselves, which is nothing new.

    The flag stuff at GAA matches is a bit unfortunate though. I'm waiting for the day someone brings along a swastika flag "cos it's red and white like".

    The KKK flag should be taken down, but the UVF flags mean a lot to people in Ulster Loyalist areas. So they would not get taken down.

    A non story, most Ulster Loyalists don't support the KKK.
