1991 Nissan Sunny 1.4 LX- first car so it was the bee's knees to me at the time.
1997 Toyota Corolla 1.3 XLi Plus - ok but very light on the road.
1994 Honda Accord 2.0 LS (company car) - excellent car, shame I had to give it back.
1999 Opel Vectra 1.8 CD - rubbish from start to finish. Glad to get rid of it.
2001 Toyota Avensis 1.8 Luna MkI - good car.
2003 Toyota Avensis 1.8 Luna MkII - put 167k miles on it over 4.5 years without a problem, great car.
2005 Ford Focus 1.6 Ghia TDCi - only have it 6 weeks but so far so good.

I had the same. Complete disaster. Made from dessert foods.
You sank into the seat like it was trifle and the suspension was made from marzipan.
Wheezy engine, dodgy tail-lights, horrible interior and just nasty in general.
Bloody fantastic in a crash, though.
In fact crashing it felt better than driving it.

1992 Austin metro 1.0L ( only car I ever made a profit on, I thought at time this is easy money :0)

1994 Vauxhall Astra 1.3L had for 2 years and only lost 400 pounds ( was still on a flyer)

1996 Ford escort 1.6 DSL hated this car.

1996 Mazda 323f 1.6L pop up lights ( fell in love with this car , bought alloys , the money pit started here . Sold it in 1999 and moved to Ireland and had no car for 2 years.

2001 Nissan primera 1.6 ,liked this car but 2 head gaskets in 1 year really
disappointed me and had to go.

2007 Audi a4 1.9 tdi avant, , bought for wife for our family car, still have it today, a fantastic car, so powerful , you'll have to prise this bastard from my dead hands. Bought for a small fortune.

2006 Audi a4 1.8L really lost a load of money on this, great car but drank the juice , sold in 2009 because got company van given to me due to high mileage .

2009 Citroen van 1.9 DSL got for nothing but head blew after 2 years and scrapped it after I'd got made redundant .

2011 Peugeot partner car ,bought really cheap as didn't know if I had job , only car I ever owned less than 8 months, car was a heap of crap and cost me more in end than was worth it .

2013 Citroen Picasso 1.6 DSL , seems like a great car so far , especially as the wife gave me the audi back .

In all the audi 1.9 tdi is the best car I've ever owned but I'm very nostalgic towards the Mazda 323 f . A lot of the other cars I've owned were a big disappointment . Especially the audi a4 petrol .

The car I hated the most was the Peugeot partner.

Although the audi is my favourite car it cost so so much , I've owned it 7 years so far but will need to last at least another 7 more years to justify to me the cost .but with just 110k miles on clock it should easly make another 7 years .

I will say its a 2003 car but I've driven so many new cars in last 2 years that's not a patch on it so maybe you get what you pay for.

1989 Nissan March super turbo. An absolute antichrist but it was starting to burn oil.

1988 Ford Fiesta XR2. Absolutely mint, a collectors item now. I still miss it!

1991 Peugeot 205 1.9 gti. A fabulous little car but rickety and badly built.

1999 Ford Fiesta 1.25 zetec. My first new car, I loved it!

1990 Toyota Celica GTR. Pop up headlights, nuff said.

99 Ford Mondeo 2.0. Great in a straight line, not so great in the corners!

99 Honda Accord 1.8. Nice, predictable car. A bit dull though.

01 Ford Mondeo 1.8. Drove and looked well but riddled with faults.

00 Toyota Celica 190. A fabulous car, I will buy another one someday.

04 Honda Accord Executive. My current car, drives beautifuly but drinks petrol!

1995 McLaren F1. My next car...

I was late learning to drive as I attended uni in scotland and hence spent most of the last 7 years abroad without use of the parents' car to learn in. Only passed my test in january at 25.

Learned in my parents' 2005 1.6 mazda 3

In march I became the proud owner of a blisteringly fast 2001 1.4 mk4 golf GTI(Okay, it's a GTI badge from halfords. Couldn't resist) with 87,500 miles on the clock when i got it with a full service history. It's underpowered (75 bhp in a car that weighs 1.1 - 1.2 tonnes) and sounds like a diesel (noisey tappets, a common problem with the engine), but it drives well, can cruise at 120 all day no bother to it and gets me from A to B while getting 35-45mpg. I know everyone hates on the 1.4 mk4 golfs but I love mine. Mind I haven't been driving any Bugatti veyrons for comparison.

    98 Astra 1.2- reliable,quiet,well built.
    98 Almera 'S'- excellent.
    00 Mazda 323 1.3 lightweight,noisy.
    01 Astra 1.4- oil burner.
01&02 Almera's- both timing chain failure.
04 Almera - so far not bad.Decent performance.

I had an '01 1.4 mk4 and I also loved it. Solid, reliable, easy on petrol and best of all it was a great looking car. I sold that last year (reluctantly) as it was starting to show it's age and I upgraded to an '06 mk5 GTi DSG. This car is heaven to drive. It's top spec, has all the power you'll ever need and the gearbox is like something out of a supercar.

Prior to that I had a '00 1.6 Focus saloon. The less said about that the better..........

I stared off in 2001 with..

94 Renaulit Clio 1.2RN - great memories... Nippy little car - gone to the scrappy
98 VW Polo - insurance costs dictated.. Served me well. Never broke in 90k
02 VW Golf 1.4 Comfortline.. Dealer special order - very high spec - regretted selling that one
01 VW Passat TDI 130 - lovely car, but was an absolute shed... Spent €2k on it in a year and a half:mad:
03 Landcruiser (old shape) - my current bus - I will have to be surgically removed from this at 80 years of age... It's just THAT good....

I would love to have an M5 some day....

This is cars i've owned. I've driven a lot better than this list :pac:

1983 Ford Fiesta 1.1 Popular Plus.
Loved this little baby . Black/grey two tone with a red stripe/pixelated/clear decal along the side blending the two tones together. Stuck on xr2 pepperpot alloys, bumpers interior and a roof spoiler from a 1.4 Sport. Wish i'd taken a pic

    1986 Honda Accord 2.0 Auto
Wasnt really mine but my old mans. Borrowed it for two weeks while he went on holiday and didnt want to give it back. Fully loaded spec. It even had cruise control

    1990 Ford Fiesta 1.0 Popular.
Metallic blue. Slow as feck. Stuck on 15" TSW Stealths but didnt lower it. :(
Added clear indicators and a gold plated Fiesta badge from a later model.

    2001 VW Caddy 1.9 SDI.
Hated it. Crashed it. Twice. Killed it the second time.

    1998 Mitsubishi Colt 1.3 GLI
Great little car. Was red which i wasnt mad about. Handled like a go kart.

2001 Toyota Corolla 1.3 Terra vvti saloon
Liked this car. Very quick for a 1.3.

    2005 Ford Mondeo 2.0 LX TDCI 115ps
Company car. No costs of fuel/insurance/tax so no complaints :D

    2005 Ford Mondeo 1.8 LX
I liked the last one and the quickclear windscreen is the business
Stuck on 18" Zetec rims, black headlights, led interior, debadged rear, sprayed grill mesh black. 07 style grille. St chrome/black door handles

2005 Mercedes C180k with sport pack
Needed to switch to an automatic. Friend was selling his. Handy.
Tis a lot quicker than previous stuff i've owned. Decent spec, full fake black leather. Aircon, cruise control. Touchshift 5gtronic box too which seems nice n smooth.
Only thing ive changed on this is a flat badge and some Nightbreaker and interior bulbs

I seem to be doing this stuff in twos...

    - 2 Mitsubishi Mirage's (Colt imports).. 99 Hatchback and a 98 Coupe, both 1.3
    - 2 Passats.. 02 1.9 TDI automatic, and a 06 2.0 TDI DSG
    - 2 A6s.. both 05 3.0 TDI Quattro tiptronic, the first of which went back with what I suspect was injector issues

Next on the list I think will be a 08+ A8 in the same 3.0 TDI Quattro tiptronic spec

Nissan patrol 2007 super safari - very powerful and very thirsty

    And now
Audi q7 3.6 petrol 2007 - like a couch on wheels! Love the leather seats and luxurious interior

03 - Clio Dynamique. I loved this car, never had any trouble with it and it was my first taste of freedom. The insurance cost more than it was worth. I drove it into Lough Ree and it survived a few more years.

09 - Yaris - Or as my colleagues called it the 'Y' Class. Only had it a few months, preferred the clio.

09- Camry - God it was boring and felt really badly built.

10 - Landcruiser Prado - 4 litre loved it, my first 4x4 and my god I used it. Most weekends were spent off roading and camping, I put 98km on it in 18 months. I had a huge commute to and from work. Never any trouble with it.

10 - Merc SL 1992 - No airbags and crazy handling as I never had a rear wheel drive car before. It was difficult to keep in a straight line.

12- Jeep Grand Cherokee - Much more planted on road compared to the landcruiser. It left with the ex.

    13- LR 3- 5 litre V8. Money pit but I love it.
