Ive no idea why they are considered the pinnacle of football. They were beaten this year by a bunch of ragtags (when compared to Barca and Real)

The EPL has been getting consistently better, as judged by the quality of players it is now attracting.

I'm not going to worry about Suarez at all . If he goes he goes I just hope john Henry and co. can get every penny they can for him . If Suarez wants to leave let him go . I don't want to watch another Torres type situation kick off . As in you see a player sulk . This season was different because Suarez couldn't really do that with it being a World Cup year . If the club is indeed Barcelona then I would tell them . Sanchez and Pedro have to come the other way but then who knows what plans BR has in place .

If Suarez did go and the club asked for Sanchez and Pedro it would leave the attack like this .

Sturrigde , sterling , Coutinho , lambert , Borini , Sanchez and Pedro .

That actually leaves 3 options on the bench . Which is always a good thing . Plus with 50 or so million to upgrade elsewhere .

Spurs have proved beyond all reasonable doubt that the player is more valuable than the money received.

In addition to his goals and assists, his influence on his team mates is there for all to see. Suarez's appetite and work rate is insatiable and he wont tolerate anything less from his team mates.

Sterlings rise in stature is also in no small measure down to playing alongside Suarez.

Its not just his goals we'll miss should Suarez be sold.

And since when do we have to bow to the almighty Barcelona and Real Madrid?

We knocked both of them out of the Champions league in successive years (08 & 09).

It's all just speculation anyway.

I would want Sanchez as part of any deal with Barca but as much as I like him I wouldn't take Pedro I'd want Deulofeu as part of the deal.

So Sanchez & Deulofeu and £55/60m cash. I'd take £40m cash if they threw in Alba.

I'd also delay any deal with Barca to as close to there illegal transfer ban hearing!

If it's Madrid I'd want straight up cash payment up front £90/100m World Record transfer no payment plans for them.

£65 million seems to be the magic number everyone says. For a player in the top 3 in the world that is an unacceptable fee. Real Madrid paid £78m for Gareth Bale a player who was bought as pure potential.

We have to getting atleast what they paid for Bale. If its Barcelona we are dealing with I reckon £60m plus Sanchez would be a sufficient deal, I would value Sanchez in the £30m region.

If Henry and Co. are has tough sellers as they are buyers you can be sure they will get every penny they can out of them.

If there is a release clause and both clubs meet it, correct if Im wrong but we wouldn't be able to start an auction with them as both clubs would have met the contractual clause to discuss personal terms with him. He could pick Real or Barca?

i wouldn't be keen for us to sign Pedro. Good player but i feel he is on the decline. He also has never played for anyone outside great teams like Barca & Spain. So its hard to know how he would do in a different style of football.

Sanchez would suit Liverpool down to the ground would be a great replacement for Suarez. Liverpool need to make a major signing this summer, they've been threatening for a couple of windows now

Pedro is class, I agree though that there could be a question mark on how he would settle in England, but you have that with most foreign signings

Good news for Liverpool fans. Their club has been told they can sign Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno - as long as they meet the asking price. The club's president Jose Castro confirmed that Brendan Rogers' side are one of several teams interested in signing the highly-rated 21-year-old, but explained that serious negotiations were yet to begin while emphasising that Sevilla were under no pressure to cash in on the Spain international.

"It's true that there is interest from a number of clubs, above all Liverpool, in him, but we haven't had proper conversations about selling him," Castro said in an interview with Spanish newspaper ABC. "Signing any player from this club has a price and we will decide that price. If Alberto Moreno has to stay at the club he will stay but if a club pays the amount we think is big enough for him to leave, he will leave. But there is no pressure.

"We haven't reached an agreement, but talks haven't broken down. We'll wait and see what happens. If Liverpool are interested in the player and pay the right amount, he will be sold."
