    What you need to do is weightweenie the heck out of it, the frame deserves it! I can be your assistant for a small fee (like.. I will be minding the bike during summer :P)

    That's actually a really nice bike. Great deal for a commuter or anyone looking to into the sport.

    They've a similar grey (anthracite) one in a 54cm for a good price at the mo.

    Took the plunge and ordered two 25mm veloflex corsas to go with my latex tubes.

    E38 each (free p&p) from Merlin.

    Bit the bullet and took a chance on these. I hope I made the right choice!

    I reckon if you put shoe covers on them your feet would be extra warm with the radiation...

    Lol. That's the idea. The black ones just looked like dancing shoes. May as well be visible I guess. Should go well with de ronde jersey ;)

    10770_shimano_105_5700_gear_kit.jpg

    All part of a kit on Merlin (cheaper than buying the equivalent in Tiagra 4600!), and a matching chain and cassette too from CRC. Fed up of Sora 8 speed on my (old) Trek, so bit the bullet and hoping the 9-speed Tiagra chain set (previous upgrade) will be compliant! Also got a pair of new wheels after my rear aksium gave up the ghost last week:

    Toying with retiring this bike to a commuter/winter bike, and cashing in BTW, so didn't see the point in breaking the bank on wheels. Plus those were way cheaper on Merlin than they go on most sites!

    ^ with Ultegra 6870 Di2. Westbrook Cycles special :D

    Should hopefully be arriving via Parcel Motel tomorrow or Friday (it's currently in Antrim as of this morning).

    Will then be buying the rest to finish it off:
    * Fizik Antares Versus Braided - black
    * Fizik Cyrano R3 bars
    * Fizik Cyrano stem
    * Speedplay Zero stainless - green
    * Training wheels - have a set of Fulcrum Racing 7's available. Will buy racing wheels when my wallet recovers

    All black with small green details, considering green bar tape

    Does a frame fit those cubby holes in parcel motel? Would be handy as I am looking at a frame from the UK.

    If it's oversize, like a bike, you have to collect from their depot in Finglas

    Edit: and also pay a small oversize fee

    Since the start of the month I've bought a rake of club kit, new cleats, various food items, a new front mount for the Garmin, a new cassette, a BB tool, special fancy cleaning brushes and more brake pads than I could actually fit on my full collection of bikes.

    I don't think I can afford to enter National Champs anymore...

    You bought new socks, right? Right?

    I was going to, but you can't buy club socks with a credit card, and I only had cash for so much (two S/S jerseys, pair of shorts, a gillet, and a replacement cap).

    The oversize fee now depends on parcel size ('Volumetric Weight') so a bike could end up pretty expensive. http://www.parcelmotel.com/howmuch.html

    It's built!

    Currently sitting on my brother's 58mm Detecs and needs a few small jobs but it's ridable and looks alright ;)
